Open wire heating elements are the best solution for air heating when used in fans. Because of our longlasting experience in this field, we can offer you a series construction in most cases. To use our open wire or coil heating elements in air, the installation of a cut-out is necessary (heat accumulation). The connection is done by a plug at the element (Faston 4,8 or 6,3) or by a cord set. Our extended range of air heater variants comprises: -> Heaters for Laundry Dryers (series & spare parts types) -> Heaters for Cross Flow Fan -> Heaters for Powerful Radial Blowers -> Heating Crosses & Special Designs Various special designs for airflow heating, deploying heater spirals on insulating mica support, are available. They are required when the available space for installation is limited and defined geometrical air ducts do not exist. All special open wire heaters are individual designs, i.e. custom-made.

The robust steel construction is the optimal solution for secure handling, efficient transport and careful storage of coils and wire coils. secutex coilprotect “Altus” is suitable for all coil sizes. The robust steel construction can be easily mounted. It is ideal for the erection of longterm storage spaces. This coil storage can be loaded with coil hooks and coil tongs. The valuable coils resting upon the support surfaces are protected by secutex impact protection. In comparison to other chemical materials, secutex is extremely resistant to wear and tear.

The proven secutex wire coil mat reliably prevents scratches and dents. The lightweight mat can be positioned quickly. Users especially rate the new rolloff stop. The individual wire rings hook firmly into the transverse grooves. The wire bundles no longer slip and an additional bundling is no longer necessary.

Multi-coil wave springs are made from flat-rolled spring wire that is coiled to a helical shape and the coils are at the same time given a sinus shaped wave form. The force-deflection relation is created by flattening out the wave form when the spring is compressed. The function is hence like a helically shaped leaf spring.

Westfälische Drahtindustrie produces cold rolled flat and shaped wires at its Brotterode site. Over the last few decades, the Brotterode plant, with its central location in the heart of Europe, has evolved into an important supplier to the international cold rolling industry. With around 40 employees, we manufacture flat and profile wires in coils or bars for our industrial customers at our site in Brotterode (Thuringia) - on an area of 40,000 m². Our products can be found in the offshore, construction, electrical and automotive industries, among others. The Brotterode plant maintains quality assurance in accordance with ISO 9001 and certified energy management in accordance with ISO 50001. The absence of an environmentally harmful pickling plant also makes us an environmentally friendly high quality flat wire plant
