Our wireless SureCross system enables simple and fast transmission of process data from the field to higher level control systems. In both versions, DX70 for simple cable replacement as well as in DX80 for a complex network, gateways communicate through radio signals with the nodes in the field and transfer the signals of the field devices to the controller.

The modules of the IMSP series are connected before the interface devices and provide reliable protection against voltage surges. The only 6.2 mm wide DIN rail devices are IP20 rated and can be used in the Ex and non-Ex area. Among other things, modules are available for surge-protected connection of analog signals (e.g. for analog signal isolators and temperature measuring amplifiers) as well as for connecting binary signals from switches or inductive and capacitive sensors.

We offer the appropriate interface device for separating, forming, processing, converting and conditioning analog signals. The product portfolio comprises analog signal isolators, isolating transducers, temperature measuring amplifiers, potentiometer amplifiers, trip amplifiers and level monitors - for simple and complex requirements, for Ex- and non-Ex applications, available in the IP20 housing for DIN rail as well as in the compact IP67 housing for decentralized on-site remote control.

Everywhere, where digital signals must be electrically separated and processed or current and voltage limited power supply is needed, our interface devices are used such as isolating switching amplifiers, solenoid drivers, relay couplers and rotation speed monitors. The interface devices are available in the IP20 modular housing for DIN rail as well as in the compact IP67 housing for decentralized remote-site use. The BL ident® interfaces are obtainable as a set together with the gateway and one to four RFID modules in IP20 or IP67. Also available are interfaces for connection to PROFIBUS-DP, EtherNet/IP™, Modbus TCP, DeviceNet™, PROFINET, CANopen und EtherCAT®. A maximum of 16 parallel operating channels are possible. The µCAN.4.ti-F1 is the universal measurement module for mobile acquisition of temperature data. Depending on the module type, resistance sensors as well as any kind of thermocouple can be polled at an overall sample rate of 4 kHz.

Our thermal management and insulation products are far from being just interim solutions. The Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) from Seifert electronic GmbH ensure optimal thermal connection between heat sinks and the components to be cooled. As electronic assemblies become increasingly compact, even a tiny gap between individual components can disrupt the necessary heat dissipation. Air pockets between the heat sink and the component being cooled hinder the optimal thermal connection. Possible consequences include temperature overload, which can lead to overheating in the worst-case scenario. Thermal management and insulation products act as connectors between the heat sink and the electronic component being cooled. They fill every tiny gap between the heat sink and semiconductor with thermally conductive material. This ensures optimal thermal connection and prevents any heat buildup.

This involves a play-free electronic switching cam encoder (abbreviated to: NOCE) with a maximum of four galvanically separated switching outputs, which can be set by the customer and which are activated or deactivated depending on the relevant position of the drive shaft. A parameterisable multiturn absolute encoder with SSI interface plus the switching cam encoder printed circuit board with separate controller are integrated into the compact housing. The SSI interface can be preset, the code direction can be set and the switching outputs can be preset.

An absolute mulitturn encoder with CANopen interface, adjustable parameters and an electronic switching cam module is realized in the compact housing. A separate controller unit monitors the function of the cams. The encoder's CANopen position signal and the switching outputs can be parameterised separately. The parameterisation (cam limits, resolution, measuring range a.s.o.) has to be verified to the NOCN via a checksum. This checksum can be calculated by a TWK program or the standard algorithm recommended by the CiA. After verification the device can be set operational.

They consist of two coils which are encapsulated in a stainless steel cylinder ensuring positive protection against vibration, shock, humidity, oil and corrosive matter. A mu-metal plunger core causes opposing changes of inductance when it is displaced through the centre of the coils. The displacement transducers are designed for a carrier frequency of 10 kHz. Other frequencies can be used but may involve changes of output values.
