TT...SM CENTRIFUGAL DISC FINISHING UNITCOMPACT AND PIVOTING Centrifugal disc finishing units from the TT...SM range have an attached screening machine and integrated hopper for abrasive media. After processing the workpieces, the entire unit pivots by 135° to separate the abrasive media and workpiece mass on the screening machine. SUITABLE FOR HIGH-VALUE WORKPIECES While the system pivots back into the working position, the abrasive media are conveyed back into the work bowl. This centrifugal disc finishing unit is particularly well suited to processing high-value workpieces, making it a popular choice in the aerospace industry for example. CONTINUOUS TROWALIZING OF NON-SENSITIVE PARTS The AV range of continuous units allows you to continuously process large quantities, with no need to interrupt the mass finishing process to add new workpieces. OUR ENTRY-LEVEL MODEL – EFFICIENT AND COST EFFECTIVEThe circular vibrators of the CF series are a perfect and simple introduction to mass finishing. The seven different configurations, with a range of different bowl sizes, offer excellent efficiency and maximum cost effectiveness. The CF circular vibrators are easy to operate and can be expanded with accessories for sound deadening or metering, for example. PROCESSING AND SEPARATION – SMOOTH MASS FINISHING The work bowl with an evenly rising floor is perfect for processing your workpieces, as the zero-maintenance vibration flange motor works at two different speeds. The pneumatic separator flap and long separation zone allow you to gently separate your workpieces from the abrasive media. This creates a smooth mass finishing process with excellent results.

MV multivibratorsThe finishing touch for complex shapes If you have workpieces with hard-to-process contours that require fine finishing or polishing, the multivibrators of the MV series are the ideal choice. The respective workpiece is secured mechanically or electromagnetically, and processed using vibrating abrasive media and special fluids. This ensures a consistent finish on both the internal and external surfaces. Automated internal finishing on premium parts Our multivibrators each have three high-speed imbalance drives that allow you to vary the position and rotation direction. This enables extremely small vibration amplitudes, ensuring high surface quality for your workpieces – even on difficult-to-reach areas. Delicate bars are protected, the workpiece contours are retained, and even small-diameter boreholes can be processed internally.

Robust mass finishing machines with separation zone The CD series of circular vibrators are robustly built and stand out thanks to their wide range of potential uses. From polishing and smoothing to deburring, the integrated screening unit helps easily separate workpiece and abrasive media using a manually or pneumatically powered separator flap. The CD circular vibrators are available in configurations from 110 to 1,200 litres of gross volume. Perfect configuration for large workpieces Thanks to the flat bowl bottom and the large opening between the bowl bottom and the separator flap, processing your large and sensitive workpieces is easy. The further development of our deburring grinding plates are our patented deburring segments FAPI-FLEX-SAT (patent no. DE20304860 U1). These advanced deburring segments were developed in collaboration with the company Timesavers from the Netherlands. Fast, safe and clean deburring or edge rounding of sheet metal parts is no longer a problem when using these tools. Deburring grinding segments can also be individually adapted depending on the application. DG Grinding processes with simultaneous cooling of the raw material to temperatures far below ambient temperature (e.g. minus 30°C); usually done with the help of liquid nitrogen, which has a temperature of around minus 196°C.

As the name indicates, the aluminium hub of the contact wheel FAPI-VUS DENSE is coated with dense adjoining lamellae of foamed up Vulkollan®. The length of the lamellae of foamed up Vulkollan® can be varied depending on the application (standard: 20 and 35 mm). The lamellae of foamed up Vulkollan® provide the contact wheel with a “running cushion” with which a fine finish is possible especially when working on (strongly) cambered and profiled pieces. The coating adapts to every workpiece to be found. In addition, the contact wheel FAPI-VUS dense contributes in large measure to abrasive belt cooling because the spaces between the lamellae dissipate the heat. The choice of the right serrated grinding wheel for grinding knives, scissors, tweezers, pliers, surgical instruments, etc. with the most suitable teeth and the highest quality standards must be determined on a customer-specific basis depending on the intended use. The base body of the serrated grinding wheel is made of aluminum. A coating is applied to the aluminum body, into which the teeth are then inserted depending on the profile shape according to the intended use. For manual grinding work with hand grinders. The grinding tables have an integrated extraction system and work with direct air feedback. Grinding table type ST 20 Three standard working widths are available: 1500, 2000 and 2500 mm. The grinding tables are made of galvanised sheet steel and are painted. The workpieces are supported by a wooden grating with defined gap spacings. The filter elements are located under the wooden grating. Cleaning is performed by a pneumatically driven device. Fan and controller are arranged at the side. A tool support is located above the fan. The grinding tables are also optionally available with work booth and lighting. Equipment Optional versions

CBG DP-TA - dense shotcrete with high grinding resistance for cold and hot repairs of thermal equipment with a maximum application temperature up to 1500°C. It can be used as shotcrete and repair compound for other equipment after consultation with the manufacturer. — high abrasion resistance — high adhesion strength with the surface to be applied — does not contain substances that cause allergic reactions. Resistant to molten metals, acid and alkaline slags. The water temperature by mixing the concrete mix must not exceed +35°. Delivery and storage conditions: — Packed in 25 kg bags or big bags, other packaging possible by agreement. — Shelf life in a dry room: max. 12 months from date of production.

Removal of adhesive residues on grinding instruments with the Spray cleaning device Clean-o-mat RC 82 Parts cleaning machine for removal of adhesive residues on grinding instruments with approx. 100 bar pressure. The nozzle tube system and the clamping device are adaptable to the grinding wheel diameter.

The traversable straddle gauges are used for offline measurement. They are placed onto the roll and moved manually, thereby measuring the form of the rolls from crown edge to crown edge. They are characterised by a high measurement point density of 1 mm and a high repetition accuracy of ± 2 µm. With the evaluation software optimised over decades together with our customers for this application, curves can be pivoted and superimposed, centered and smoothed. The scope of supply also includes a panel PC.

The gauges from the VSL Series measure the form, diameter, roundness and eccentricity of the rolls during the grinding process with very high precision. Form, radial run-out and eccentricity are measures with a precision of ± 1 µm. If an interface is available, they communicate online with the controller of the roll grinding machine and thus enable even more cost-effective use of the grinding machine. With the appropriate configuration, they measure the height and lateral alignment of the roll in the grinding machine before grinding, often enabling the set-up time to be significantly reduced. Vollmer produces the automatic roll measuring gauges for both bench-mounted machines where the roll is moved along the grinding wheel and for support machines where the grinding wheel is moved along the rotating roll. Vollmer supplies the systems for a broad spectrum of roll diameters.
