The INFICON Bayard-Alpert passive vacuum gauge heads BAG050, BAG051, BAG052 and BAG053 are designed for use with the INFICON Vacuum Gauge Controller VGC083A & VGC083B. Yttria coated iridium filaments are offered for general vacuum applications in air and inert gases such as N2 and argon. General Information The STAUFF SPG-DIGI digital pressure gauges are designed for digital measurement and display of pressure in hydraulic systems, especially for oils, lubricants and water. Current measured values as well as min and max values can be displayed with a precision of 0.5% of the full scale value. The SPG-DIGI is optionally available in the USB version, equipped with an internal data memory. A measurement started on the measuring device is automatically stored in the internal data memory in the universal .csv file format. The measurement data can then be transferred to the PC using the supplied mini USB cable. The device shows up on the PC as a USB data storage medium, so that no additional software is required for transferring the data. This allows easy export of the data, e.g. into Microsoft Excel®. They still form an integral part of the measurement technology in new plants where the highest precision is demanded. Flexible for up to 9 mm strip thickness / 32 mm strip width Tactile measurement is employed at all stages of the strip production process – on the annealing line and during rolling, on the finishing line or during strip processing as well as in the steel service centre. Vollmer delivers the systems in different versions. Optional the strip thickness gauge can be equipped with an additional strp width measurement unit.

The gauges from the VSL Series measure the form, diameter, roundness and eccentricity of the rolls during the grinding process with very high precision. Form, radial run-out and eccentricity are measures with a precision of ± 1 µm. If an interface is available, they communicate online with the controller of the roll grinding machine and thus enable even more cost-effective use of the grinding machine. With the appropriate configuration, they measure the height and lateral alignment of the roll in the grinding machine before grinding, often enabling the set-up time to be significantly reduced. Vollmer produces the automatic roll measuring gauges for both bench-mounted machines where the roll is moved along the grinding wheel and for support machines where the grinding wheel is moved along the rotating roll. The traversable straddle gauges are used for offline measurement. They are placed onto the roll and moved manually, thereby measuring the form of the rolls from crown edge to crown edge. They are characterised by a high measurement point density of 1 mm and a high repetition accuracy of ± 2 µm. With the evaluation software optimised over decades together with our customers for this application, curves can be pivoted and superimposed, centered and smoothed.
