Digital pH sensor SMARTPAT analytical sensors from KROHNE are the first and only sensor line in the market with integrated transmitter technology. The complete circuitry is miniaturised and fits into the sensor head. This technical achievement cuts the price in half compared to all measurement systems without integrated transmitter technology. KROHNE is the only company who offers a real open standard without additional external transmitter and with a direct connection via standardised fieldbus from the sensor to the process control system. The aluminum enclosure Type CA from Bernstein is corrosion resistant, impact resistant and has a high mechanical strength due to which it is ideal for the encapsulation of electrical, electronic, pneumatic components and applications that are used in potentially explosive environments. The CA enclosures feature copper-plated earthing screws for connecting PE conductors on body and cover, and are finished in RAL 7001 in a silver/gray shade. Earthing sockets and mounting flanges can be utilized for mounting as well as for securing the built-in components. These come with factory-assembled seals that confer class IP 65 (optionally IP 67) protection according to DIN EN 60529.

Bernstein Series CP and CPS polyester enclosures are made of high-grade glass fiber-reinforced polyester. The black polyester enclosures conform to the requirements for Ex applications and are sufficient for accepting and encapsulating electrical and electronic and control components in harsh environments or implicitly explosive atmospheres. All enclosures have achieved protection class IP 66 in accordance with DIN EN 60529. The captive stainless steel cover screws are maintained by a self-latching element integrated into the cover. The threaded bushes are embedded in the flange on the narrow sides of the base and obtain mounting rails, plates and PC boards.

This product is made of high-grade polycarbonate or ABS and are typically designed for enclosing electrical and electronic components and even complete small-scale controllers. The BERNSTEIN Series CT plastic enclosers all comes with a transparent polycarbonate cover and follows protection class IP 65 of DIN EN 60529. Also provided are attachment bosses on the enclosures' base to built-in components mounting. Components can be easily secured using self-tapping mounting screws. These plastic enclosures allows various direct mounting options because attachment bosses' location and installation of mounting rails is possible. The BERNSTEIN Series CT enclosures are manufactured with the BERNSTEIN developed and patented quick-release fastener.

Solution for partially filled pipes The TIDALFLUX 2000 flow sensor with integrated and non-contact capacitive level measuring system provides accurate flow measurement in partially filled pipes. TIDALFLUX is designed to measure reliably between 10% and 100% of the pipe cross section. The integrated level sensors in the liner are in no contact with the liquid and are therefore insensitive against fat and oil floating on the surface.

Battery powered electromagnetic flowmeter for drinking water applications WATERFLUX 3070 is the first battery powered water meter for the drinking water industry that is capable of measuring flow, pressure and temperature with one sensor. To enable remote access to flow, pressure and temperature data the WATERFLUX 3070 has a RS485 Modbus RTU communication option. For this it has a special Modbus version designed for battery operation. With its real-time-data on flow, pressure and temperature the WATERFLUX 3070 provides important data to support customers business processes like zoning for water balance (DMA), water abstraction, pressure management, and revenue collection.

With the development of CHARM®, Open Grid Europe is providing an efficient leakage control method for natural gas pipeline networks and thus an alternative to the labour intensive practice of conducting on-site inspections of the pipelines with gas detection devices. CHARM® is a highly accurate infrared laser system integrated in a helicopter that is capable of precisely detecting even very low methane concentrations from the air. Even in the case of very complex pipeline topologies, the course of the pipeline can be detected consistently on a large scale during the flight by an automatic, highly precise scanning beam control system (autotracking), thus ensuring a reliable leak tightness inspection of the natural gas pipeline.

Maintenance and repair work on the natural gas network is generally carried out with the pipeline being gas-free, so the relevant pipe sections are isolated by installing valve assemblies and the gas in the isolated section is vented to atmosphere. By using our mobile compressors – individually or in highly efficient parallel operation – the network operator can transfer the gas from the isolated pipe section to another part of the system so it does not have to be vented to atmosphere. Connection points for the mobile compressors are available e.g. in the area of the main line valves or can generally be retrofitted. It makes economic sense to transfer the gas to another as this guarantees responsible handling of this primary energy source and makes a substantial contribution to protecting the environment.
