Initiator cables, also referred to as sensor/actuator cables, connect control units and different sensors, or, in the case of reversal of the measurement principle, actuators. Frequently used abbreviations include ini or ini cable (plural: inis). Sensor or measurement transducers transform physical quantities such as rotation, speed, distance or length into analogue electric impulses. In the case of an actuator, the measured electric current (symbol: I, unit: ampere; A) or voltage (symbol: U, unit: volt; V) is transformed into temperature, pressure or torque. The connection cable consists of at least three cores with a small cross-section of between 0.14mm² and 0.34mm². In the simplest case, two cores are required for supplying the voltage, while the last core transmits an I/O signal. For sensitive applications, there are shielded versions in addition to the traditional ini cables to avoid EMC disruptions (electromagnetic compatibility).

CSN® copper and nickel are temperatureresistant connecting cables for internal wiring of electric household appliances such as hotplates, glass ceramic plates, grill appliances or storage heaters. Compared with normal wire production this wire isolation is made in one work process, both conductors get moulded in Teflon at the same time. Around installation technology, cable clamps for the fastening of HF cables to telecommunication masts are our speciality. These cable clamps consist of a C frame including retaining feet (for installation on to a C-profile or flat bar) and a fastening screw with grouted thrust washer. In addition, the corresponding number of cable trays (inlays) are supplied. C frame The C frames are stamped bent parts which – depending on their size – have lateral pieces to provide rigidity and stability. The fixing screws have a uniform hexagon head. Due to the construction and material selection, after tightening, a secure hold is ensured even without a lock nut. A torque of 1.5 Nm is recommended here. Installation to flat bars is possible up to a material thickness of 9.3 mm. Inlay The cable troughs are chamfered for side installation or simple setting into the C frame. The wide overlap protects against falling through before tightening the fastening screw.

By means of a hinge, the edge protector SKD can be optimally suited to any load geometry. The edge protector can be quickly secured to the edge of the wire cable by means of mounting slits. The wire cable slides through the secutex clip which remains on the lashing belt despite collisions.
