PMA cable protection systems are used wherever the mechanical protection of electrical lines and cables is needed. Highly flexible cable protection tubes are specifically suited for the additional protection of cable guides in e-chain® systems. Safe energy and data transmission The igus® Chainflex® cable range offers a choice of over 850 different cables, available from stock. A main focus of the range are the data and bus cables. Solutions based on copper, glass or plastic fiber optic cables are provided for almost all bus systems in industrial use. We continue to provide you with all supply cables for your drive systems such as motor cables with and without brake/tacho cables and the matching feed cables. Even when securing the load, the wire cable must be protected from the “sharp edge“. Highvalue loads may not be damaged by wire cables. The secutex simple edgeprotector SKDE is easily pushed over the backside of the mounting slit and over the wire cable. It is affixed and can no longer be detached. The edgeprotector is simple and versatile. The corner protector has a low deadweight and is quick and easy to handle thanks to the flexible textile reinforcement.

The SKDS hinged edgeprotector is a massive edge protector for cable grummets. The edgeprotector flexibly adapts to the load, increasing the radius over critical edges and distributing the lifting forces over a larger area. The cable and load are equally protected. It is available in two versions, featuring either a steel or aluminium hinge.

TEXTALU® E is a thin wall glass fibre braid made of glass fibres with heat-reflecting aluminium coating. Its reflecting surface guarantees that the protective sleeve made of this high-performance material maintains a nearly constant interior temperature even under strongly fluctuating ambient temperatures. This non-ductile braid sleeve is ideal for protecting lines, cables and cable sets against radiation heat.

PFLITSCH offers various hoses to provide comprehensive protection against mechanical and thermal damage to cables, for example where cables are installed in a corrosive environment or where cables run across the floor between a machine and a mobile operating enclosure. The UNI Dicht® system has suitable solutions in metal and plastic for safe connection of hoses to cable glands in these situations. Clampless variants are most suitable e.g. for the food industry, where no contamination or dirt is allowed to build up. These variants have all the advantages of the UNI Dicht® system, including a excellent seal up to IP 68, superior strain relief values, EMC and Ex-compatibility as well as great versatility of application. The fire protection bandage is used as cable insulation for individual cables, cable- and electrical installation pipe bundles (EIR). The insulation consists of a flexible bandage, fixed using wire. When surrounding the cables, take account of how often the appropriate medium must be surrounded. Refer to the approval for details. The bandage can be used directly next to Rockwool pipe insulation. Winding wire is included.

Four-sided, metal fire protection duct to install and route cables. With intumescent inner lining. In the event of fire, it prevents the spread of fire in the duct and protects emergency and escape routes against the impacts of a cable fire. Cable fire protection cushions made of dense, closely knit and mechanically solid glass mesh with a special filling. Free from mineral fibres, weatherproof and water-resistant. Can be stored for an unlimited period of time in dry, frost-free rooms.

In many areas, stud welding is considered to be the most economic fastening method for components and is sometimes even the only technically feasible solution. Because the stud is joined with the substructure over the entire surface of the stud without any hollow areas, a high strength can be achieved. STAUFF is now using this proven principle for the installation of pipe, tube, hose and cable clamps in the Standard and Twin Series (according to DIN 3015, parts 1 and 3) with M6 mounting thread, where female threaded weld studs replace the regular weld plates; distance plates made from plastic provide the necessary spacing between the clamp bodies and the substructure. If required, the system can also be adopted for alternative fastening methods, e.g. for clamping belts, cable ties or corrugated cable protection hoses. These lifeline systems have been awarded national technical approval and are available in 2 cable thicknesses (6 and 8 mm).
