The DataMan® 8072 Extended Range (ER) handheld barcode reader is designed for logistics and warehousing applications, reliably reading 1D and 2D label-based barcodes from up to 8 meters away. It features the latest patented algorithms, liquid lens technology, and high-powered LED lighting and laser aimer for efficient long-range scanning. The DataMan 8072ER deciphers codes from up to 8 meters (26 feet) away, making it ideal for scanning pallet labels on high shelves or slips hanging from a warehouse ceiling. This barcode reader has a 1.2-megapixel sensor to improve resolution and image formation.

DataMan® 70 is a compact fixed-mount barcode reader providing the highest read rates for 1D and 2D label-based codes. The LUMIMAX® Mounting Systems allow the direct mounting of the LED light to the Cognex camera series Insight 5000, 7000 GEN2, 9000 and also on the Cognex barcode reader series DataMan 470. The mounting variations can be individually adapted and expanded flexibly, so that exact matching of the lighting angle and working distance is guaranteed.
