Back-up rings - Import export

The MANOY® backup ring is a solid or split ring which is rectangular or profiled in section. Various sectional profiles and sizes are available in standard or customized versions. MANOY® backup rings can also be used in dynamic applications – positioned on both sides of the O‑ring for alternating pressure.

The POLYPAC® - Balsele is a compact rod seal consisting of an elastomeric sealing element and an integrated fabric reinforced base. Due to the radial pre-load an excellent sealing performance will be achieved even at low pressures. The fabric reinforced base prevents the seal from extrusion.

Zurcon® Dualseal is an excellent alternative to an O-Ring and Back-up Ring combination. The advantages are its resistance to twisting, stability at pulsating pressures and low risk of contamination. Dualseal is easy to install and has a long service life.

Turcon® Variseal® W2 is a single-acting seal consisting of a U-shaped jacket and a corrosion-resistant Slantcoil® spring. This spring provides an almost constant load regardless of hardware tolerances and seal wear. Suitable for reciprocating and light duty rotary movement, it is often interchangeable with an O-Ring and Back-up Ring.

Turcon® Variseal® W2 is a single-acting rod seal consisting of a U-shaped jacket and a corrosion-resistant Slantcoil® spring. The advantage of the seal lies in its low friction and relatively constant preloading force over a large deformation range. Suitable for reciprocating and light duty rotary movement, it is often interchangeable with an O-Ring and Back-up Ring.

Due to its abrasion resistance and durability, polyurethane is well suited for use in the conveyor industry. Support rings for support rollers made of polyurethane are characterized by a very high wear resistance. In addition, the material is largely resistant to mineral and vegetable oils.
