In addition to purely switching sensors, your sensor specialist EGE also offers you inductive proximity switches with analogue output for measuring tasks. The analogue signal is proportional to the approximation of the metal part. This sensor is also available in a version up to 160° C. The proximity sensor is based on the proven inductive principle: When metallic objects come close, the resonant circuit of a coil is dampened through induction and an analogue signal generated from it. Analogue inductive are e.g. suitable for the double occupation control of metal plates, for the tensioning control of wire or for monitoring metallic brake pads.

EGE amplifiers process the signals of the EGE filling level sensors for extreme temperatures at a safe distance and are used to set up the sensor via intuitive operation using potentiometer and LED strip. Amplifiers for EGE high temperature limit switches feature an auto-calibration of the switching point at the press of a button. EGE amplifiers provide switching signals or analogue signals, dependent on the device.

EGE amplifier complement the EGE flow sensors without integrated amplifier. They process the signals of a measuring sensor and visualise the flow state using an LED indication. In addition, they provide switching or analogue outputs for flow and temperature to the control. The device set-up is easy and takes place using a potentiometer or the buttons on the front. The devices are installed in a control cabinet or comparable protected housing. The EGE amplifier of product series SKM 420; SKM 520; SKM 552 are suitable for supply with 24 V DC or 230/115 V AC.

The H250 M40 is the standard variable area (VA) flowmeter for the process and OEM industry. The VA meter combines mechanical flow measurement of liquids or gases with state-of-the-art communication capabilities. Additional electronic modules can be added or replaced at any time without process interruption. The H250 M40 is available in various materials and in many different versions. The sturdy all-metal flowmeter can be also used in applications with high pressures (up to 1000 barg / 14500 psig), temperatures (-196...+400°C / -320...+752°F) or aggressive media. It even allows installation in horizontal or fall pipes up to DN150 / 6". A special version for use in hygienic applications is also available. The H250 M40 is intrinsically safe and explosion-proof. Certain variants of the flowmeter with limit switch or analogue output are suitable for use in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).

This involves a play-free electronic switching cam encoder (abbreviated to: NOCA) with a maximum of four galvanically separated switching outputs (cams), which can be set by the customer and which are activated or deactivated depending on the relevant position of the drive shaft. A parameterisable multiturn absolute encoder with analogue interface plus the switching cam encoder printed circuit board with separate controller are integrated into the compact housing. The analogue signal and switching outputs can be parameterised separately using multifunction pins (MFP and PRE) in the connector.
