Novelis aluminum converter foil is a part of the light- or thin-gauge product group, ideally between 5 and 70 μm. They form flexible laminates with supporting materials like polymers or paper and additional lacquering and coating. Novelis is a preferred source of converter foil for global players in the flexible aluminum packaging industry, where it is then subjected to further processing, including laminating, extrusion, lacquering and printing, embossing and cutting. The versatility and flexibility of the products enable our customers to create a diverse range of packaging solutions, finding end applications across diverse industries such as food – including butter packaging and cheese packaging – pharmaceuticals, wraps, bottle capsules, laminated tubes, pouches and more.

Durable smooth cuts in tough composite materials and resilient aluminum along with punch openings for spouts are important tasks that our composite knives fulfill admirably.

Heat protection tubes are made by layering several kinds of aluminum alloy foil and other materials, such as fiberglass and plastic with corrugations. The excellent reflectivity of the aluminum alloy on the external surface reflects radiant heat, and its insulating power additionally serves to protect the aluminum flexible tube’s content from heat sources. These products have great flexibility but high dimensional stability, and they can be compressed or extended as required. They can also be fastened or mounted easily by crimping the end fittings.

OHLER offers a wide range of aluminum foil trays. All materials have been developed to be filled both manually and automatically. They are available in various sizes and thicknesses, and the trays can even be lacquered or printed. Our range of aluminum containers is complemented by a variety of accessories including aluminum lids, closing and sealing foils, coated carton lids, plastic snap-on lids, insulated transport boxes and closing machines. For roof-construction in industry and commerce, Panelsell Ltd are able to provide sheets in various thicknesses and lengths. Increasingly instead of profiled sheets (uninsulated trapezoidal sheets), insulated roof panels are used. These panels consist of an upper and lower sheet, which are usually made of galvanised painted steel. Standard thicknesses tend to between 0.4mm to 1.0mm, which can produce different strengths as needed. It is also possible to have the outer and inner sheets made from aluminium or stainless steel.In areas exposed to a heavy stress due e.g. to ammonia, ECO panels are also used, as an alternative to insulated roof panels with a galvanised inner surface made of steel sheet. The inner surface of these panels is made of stucco embossed aluminium foil. In addition, these roof panels are cheaper than conventional roof panels. Insulation tends to come in both polyurethane and polyisocyanurate (PUR and PIR) as well as rockwool (also known as mineral wool). Decision for the choice of insulation takes into account for flammability and resistance, or structural characteristics such as themal and moisture protection. The roof panels often have a trapezoidal box profile structure. There is an alternative option of corrugated profile (shaped in a sine-wave) and traditional tile aesthetic.. Material on reels is the alternative to punched platelets and is used in packaging production lines with "inline" punching. The features are identical to the pre-punched seals. We offer various qualities, which can be used for conductive or inductive sealing, e.g. of paste tubes, in an inline process.

An alternative to conductive heat sealing is contact induction sealing, which is particularly suitable for sealing demanding container materials such as e.g. glass, metal or ceramic. An electromagnetic field is built up by a generator via an induction coil that is housed in the sealing head. The molecules of the aluminum foil are set in rotating vibrations, creating heat that is used for the sealing process.
