With the dual chamber PPM leak test stand, Poppe + Potthoff Maschinenbau offers a powerful system for testing sensors in medical device industry. The test stand can be implemented in R&D processes, but also during production as an end of line test. Current test systems on the market, which are used to test e.g. air-to-water heat pumps, are climatic chambers with a cooling, heating and humidification unit fixed to the roof. The disadvantage of this concept is that it is not possible to set a homogeneous temperature and humidity distribution in the cube-shaped room. Based on test engineering concepts in the automotive industry, EP-E developed a concept in which the air flows in a closed loop (loop design). The HPT heat pump test stand is a closed-loop test stand for functional testing of air-to-water heat pumps according to DIN EN 14511. The advantageous closed-loop design uses an insulated chamber with conditioning units for temperature and humidity outside the chamber.

With a measuring range of 17 to 500 m³/h, the Minneapolis FlowBlaster has been especially designed for testing ventilation systems during residential and commercial construction. In combination with the measuring fan BlowerDoor MiniFan, it allows the precise measurement of the air flow at supply and exhaust air valves. Measuring the supply and exhaust air flow at the respective valves provides information as to whether the requirements have been implemented as designed. If the air flows measured at the valves deviate from the requirements, the ventilation system can be adjusted.
