The estate is located in Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, locality « Clôs du Blanc », facing north and 2690 feet above sea level. Our vines grow on a variety of land, plains, valleys and hills, so they can fully express the potential of this unique soil. Our vineyard offers a large range of typically provençal vine types : Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, white Ugni and Vermentino. An ancient and very fine lot of Syrah overhangs the estate to the north-west : 0,65 acresplanted way back in 1947. This lot is historical in the vineyard as well as in Provence, since very few lots were planted with this type of vines before 1950. Brilliant idea of a brilliant mind ? Experiment of a passionate ? The question will remain unanswered. Two lots of Grenache and Syrah, planted on hillside more than 985 feet above sea level, give us a great vue on the Luberon hills, the medieval castle of Le Puy Sainte Réparade and the Sainte Victoire mountain.

This wine is clear, shiny, ruby red with cherry highlights. The varietal aromas of the Merlot express themselves with notes of red currants and black cherries. The attack is frank, the morello cherry and the vanilla accompanies a licorice and ample final. Tannins are soft.

Prestige Cuvée bearing the name of the Irish priest, the founder of Brande Shepherdess in the eighteenth century, it is made of the assembly of the best grapes, and raised in French oak casks. Château Brande-Shepherdess is ranked No. 1 of all Bordeaux and Bordeaux superiors by the Revue du Vin de France (RVF) for the vintage 2013. It is put in bottles of 75cl, Magnum (1.5 L), and double Magnum (3l).

Floors: Limestone Gold medal by Gilbert et Gaillard Vinification: Destemmed harvest, long maceration in stainless steel vats, then matured in French oak barrels. Tasting notes Brilliant pale yellow colour, The nose offers aromas of fresh fruit, citrus and exotic fruits, as well as pretty floral notes. Lively and fresh on the palate, the typical Muscat character dominates the finish.

White wine is usually sweet or medium or dry. Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc are typical white wines. Greenish yellow colour with golden hues Aromatic, flavours of pears, white peaches, notes of citrus fruits and delicate touches of vanilla.

Tempranillo 75%, Garnacha 18%, Cabernet-sauvignon 5%, Others 2%. Harvested in the middle of September when grapes are destemmed and placed in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for a maceration period of approximately seven days. Malolactic conversion and later aging in tanks where the wine remains on lees until stabilization and bottling.

100% Syrah • Tasting Notes Colour: Rich robe with an intense violet colour. Aroma: Ripe red fruit with floral violet nuances, together with elegant toasted, balsamic and spicy notes. This wine is complex but balanced. Taste: Full, elegant and velvety, powerful that awards an embracing sensation of plenitude.
