ACEROL C is composed of acerola extract, a natural source of vitamin C. Vitamin C helps reduce fatigue and supports the proper functioning of the nervous and immune systems. It also helps to metabolise energy, protects the cells against oxidative stress and enhances the absorption of iron. Vitamin C is soluble in water and is quickly consumed by the body, which is unable to produce it. A daily intake through diet is needed, taking care however not to destroy it with heat. Vitamin C or L-ascorbic acid has many biological functions in the immune and nervous systems.
