Floating rod coupling for pneumatic, electric or hydraulic cylinders Zinc steel or stainless steel 304L With axial play or adjustable play Floating coupling for cylinder rod These rod couplings make it possible to connect the rod of a pneumatic cylinder (or electric) to any part to be set in motion while avoiding any stress on the rod. They are available in 2 versions . with axial play (<0.20 mm) usual pneumatic applications and for pushing applications . with adjustable play for positioning applications => The version with axial play allows a radial compensation of the axis of the cylinder rod, it’s for usual pneumatic applications => The version with adjustable play allows the axial play to beRod coupling with adjustable axial play – reduced by screwing the cylinder rod against the internal pin and then unscrewing it slightly (then lock with the cylinder rod nut against the coupling) – removed by screwing the cylinder rod against the internal part (with tightening)

Make your own guide unit To make a guide unit adapted to your needs and integrated into your machine you choose the diameter of the rods according to the load capacity you choose the type of guidance (bronze, polymer or with ball bushings) you choose the guide length (long or short bearings) you choose the distance between the rods according to the application (on your support and your plate) you can integrate any cylinder (type, standard, brand …) you limit the number of parts by directly using a support of your frame and your own end plate You simply have to guarantee a parallelism of the bearing axes by the quality of the surface of your support. A range of bearings, guide rods and rod coupling is also available in stainless steel Guide Type 34X

For electric cylinders ISO 15552 size 32 to 100 Selfcentering rod coupling without axial play adapted to positioning Principle of rod coupling with reduced axial play Rod coupling with adjustable axial playThe difference with the ISO 15552 pneumatic cylinder guide units is at the level of the cylinder rod coupling on these guides for electric cylinders, the selfaligning rod coupling has no axial play (or a reduced axial play) depending on the assembly carried out, these units without axial play are therefore suitable for positioning applications. For applications without positioning accuracy or with high radial loads in static, it’s possible to use the guide units for pneumatic cylinders with a guide on plain bearings, since the rod coupling has an axial play (<0,2 mm).
