Plate mounting: plates mounted in serie - optimized plate spacing for each unit from 1D to 5D (D, pipe internal diameter). Number of plates: calculation of the number of stages optimized according to the specifications of the application, each plate making it possible to reduce the maximum pressure while avoiding cavitation and critical flow phenomena. Solutions of external envelopes can be recommended if the noise remains too high (consult us). Thermodynamics: the thermodynamic properties of the fluid are taken into account for the calculation of each stage: change of state, temperature, composition and density of the mixture, viscosity, compressibility factor. 3D simulation: possibility of a numerical simulation to complete the analytical calculations.

The function of a restriction orifice is to limit a flow rate or to reduce a pressure in a pipe. It is calibrated according to the technical specifications of the installation so as to reach the desired pressure or flow rate; according to the values ​​to be achieved, either simple restriction orifices (single-hole or multi-hole) or multi-stage restriction orifices can be proposed. It advantageously replaces a simple valve: simpler, more economical, more robust and maintenance free.

Axon' has developed Axovolt®, a new range of high voltage cables and cable assemblies for challenging environment. These miniature interconnect solutions are able to be used up to 20 kVDC for the cables and 12 kVDC for the cable assemblies. They are designed for high voltage applications and reduced atmospheric pressure. ITAR-free, they are manufactured in France. Axovolt® cable assemblies are made with 22AWG, 24 AWG or 26 AWG wires insulated with FEP. They can be terminated with plug connector or receptacles. This is an ideal solution for Defence onboard electronics used by pilots in aircrafts.

The Cylinder mill, commonly known as the Roller Press works by crushing the material between two cylinders kept under pressure by a hydraulic system (2 to 10 T/linear cm). This mill uses a patented process of pulsating pressure that reduces the level of vibration and contributes in reducing energy requirements and prolonging the service life of wearing parts. It is able to treat high production capacities (up to 500 T/h) and produce fine particle sizes (10 to 1000 microns). Cylinder mills allow for energy savings of up to 30% compared with mills that use traditional crushing methods. The cylinders are equipped with an antiabrasive coating which combined with their slow processing speed provide the grinding solution with the longest service life on the market.
