Colourings can prove essential in many recipes, providing the ability to alter the appearance of your product when it does not match your expectations. There are two main types of food colourings. Colourings from natural sources and synthetic colourings. All are codified at European level and comply with new ruling 1333/2008 which reclassified the regulation and authorisation to place these products on the market. Some may be limited or prohibited in some applications. Natural colourings are globally more difficult to use because they are highly sensitive to light, heat and an acid environment. Colour fastness can be a problem. We offer them in liquid and powder forms. Liquid colourings are easier to use because of their lower concentrations. Water-soluble powder colourings and lacquers are the most concentrated forms and are therefore reserved for experienced users.

Emulsion stabiliser: in case of severe contamination by grease and oils (often caused by tramp oils).

Anti-wear: avoids wear by friction of mechanical parts.

Antifoam: efficiently avoids foam due to application.

At K2TEC, we have grouped under the term Precision woven filter fabrics mesh, all the fabrics made from extruded monofilament and woven in square mesh from nylon (polyamide), polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, etc. Thanks to the wide variety of precision woven synthetic fabrics available, the industrial applications of our mesh filter fabrics are extensive: from pregnancy test protective filters, to dishwasher filters, to insect anti-intrusion devices for smoke alarms or smoke detectors. These precision woven fabrics can also be used in rolls or ribbons for industrial sieving, and virtually in any kind of filter. Mesh openings can vary from 1 micron to 4000 microns, giving these mesh filter cloths the versatility to be used in many different liquid-solid separation processes. Mesh filter cloths are also used to protect strategic surfaces in the process of air filtration or sieving.
