Thermalux® Polysulfone (PSU) is an amber colored, semi-transparent, heat-resistant, high performance engineering thermoplastic that offers higher heat resistance and better hydrolytic stability than polycarbonate (PC). It retains its good mechanical properties when exposed to steam and other sterilization techniques. We offer it in natural light amber in either rods, films and sheets.

We manufacture rough or fully machined bearing for hydraulic turbines in specific lead nickel bronze. Exceptional wearing and mechanical properties.

We manufacture rough or fully machined shaft liner sealing bearing & labyrinth in aluminium bronze and specific nickel lead bronze. Excellent for use as friction parts with good mechanical properties. We also produce rough or fully machined wearing ring in martensitic stainless steel. high mechanical properties, good abrasion and impact resistance.

Centrifugally cast composite parts made up with a matrix in silicon-aluminum alloy and SiC reinforcement elements: Silicon Carbide particles. Characteristics of an ALUSiC® piece: - SiC reinforcement ratio ranging from 30 to 60% (in volume) depending on the application. - Perfect volume distribution of the SiC particles. Physical properties: - Low density (d ≤ 2.95). - Very low expansion coefficient (alpha < 8x10-6 with 60% SiC). - High thermal conductivity (> 150W/m/°K). Mechanical properties: - Very high stiffness (Proof stress > 185x10-6 N/mm² with 60% SiC). - Exceptional wear resistance. - Good mechanical properties under hot conditions (up to 300° C / 572° F). The non-reinforced zone has the characteristics of basic alloy.

Advanced ceramics offer significant advantages over metals and plastics. They have in general good mechanical properties and are particularly resistant to compression. Some ceramics are very resistant to wear and friction. They also show relatively low friction coefficient and good toughness. It is also possible to achieve very good surface finishes that ensure leak tightness. Ceramics are all the more relevant when the application is associated with thermal stresses, abrasive particles or food compatibility. And ceramics are inert mateials that are resistant to many gases and acids.
