Body tempered, black oxidised. Ball hardened, bright. Inserts: Form C, F hardened, black oxidised. Form M with carbide serrations, black oxidised. Form K white. Form E hardened, bright. Form O diamond impregnated surface comparable to 100 grade abrasive grit. Form P polyurethane surface, hardness 60 Shore. Note: Self-aligning pads are used to support and clamp unmachined and machined workpieces. In addition, they serve as stops, supports and thrust pads in fixtures and toolmaking. The ball can be removed from the housing by applying light pressure to the socket head screw. Ball secured against rotation. Advantages: Highly cost-effective as inserts can be exchanged. The built-in O-ring holds the ball in place and keeps dirt and foreign particles out, ensuring uniform movement. Material Ballbearing steel 100Cr6. Seal, rubber NBR. Version Sealed on both sides with a spherical outer ring. Can be relubricated. Note The internal construction of the insert bearings corresponds to that of standard Series 6200 and 6300 radial ball bearing. However, they have wider inner rings for easier fastening on shafts. The inner rings are manufactured with a plus tolerance. This results in transition or press fits when using shafts with htolerances. The shaft is secured by 2 grub screws positioned 120° apart on the inner ring. The insert bearings are ready to install and are permanently lubricated with a suitable ball bearing grease. In normal applications, relubrication is not necessary.

Sealing and tension relief are provided by inset fins and a sealing washer. Rating IP68 (5 bar for 30 min). Cable glands are used for connecting fixed calbes and lines in housings, distributors and switch boxes. Temperature range: Static: -40 °C to +100 °C. Dynamic: -20 °C to +100 °C.
