Eratec designs, manufactures and sells metal fibre gas burners. The Eratec metal fibre burner is an emitter with a refractory stainless steel combustion head on a Bekinit® knitted metal fibre radiating surface. The combustion head is equipped with an electronically controlled air/gas premixing system.

Eratec can supply the integrated combustion system consisting of the emitter head as well as the gas premixing system, gas circuit and electronic controls. The First Responder is a combustible gas indicator designed for emergency response technicians in the gas industry. The First Responder detects flammable gas at PPM, LEL and % Vol levels with the addition of carbon monoxide for internal atmosphere monitoring. An optional external range diffusion probe with high speed semiconductor sensor enables rapid response in detecting small fitting leaks.

Built on the success of the robust and reliable Gascoseeker MK2, the Gascoseeker 2-500 is the UK gas industry standard instrument for measuring % LEL and % volume flammable hydrocarbons, with over 20,000 instruments in use in the UK gas industry.
