Axon' has developed Axovolt®, a new range of high voltage cables and cable assemblies for challenging environment. These miniature interconnect solutions are able to be used up to 20 kVDC for the cables and 12 kVDC for the cable assemblies. They are designed for high voltage applications and reduced atmospheric pressure. ITAR-free, they are manufactured in France. Axovolt® cable assemblies are made with 22AWG, 24 AWG or 26 AWG wires insulated with FEP. They can be terminated with plug connector or receptacles. This is an ideal solution for Defence onboard electronics used by pilots in aircrafts.

Designed for the manufacture of highvoltage insulators (550 kV), this press is one of the largest presses made by REP. The dimensions of the parts to be injected explain the huge size of the press 660 mm in diameter, 2,600 mm long, moulded in one go. The production of a complete insulator is therefore performed in one or two cycles, thus significantly increasing the profitability and reliability of the parts. Various methods of assembly exist to bind ceramic to metal. When it comes to make an assembly that can resist to mechanical stresses and/or high temperatures, be vacuum leak tight and withstand corrosive environment, high temperature, braze sealing is essential. Applications Ceramic-to-metal brazed assemblies are particularly suited for use in airborne electronics for the aerospace, defense devices, medical and analytical instruments,high-energy physics, high vacuum equipment, the nuclear industry... We offer customized ceramic to metal brazed assemblies such as for instance : high-voltage feedthroughs for the mass spectrometry, hermetic packages for airborne electronics or sensors for the oil industry, high-voltage hermetic connectors for the nuclear industry, high-voltage insulators for electron tubes.
