Severe operating conditions in very limited spaces may create demanding routings for the wires and cables with very small bend radius. Axon' offers a range of highly flexible multi-conductor wires and cables called Flexible Wires (FW). Made with silver plated copper and silver plated copper alloy (120,50 and 25 µm strands), they are insulated with FEP. They are designed to resist temperatures from -60°C to +150°C Various configurations are offered including : twisted pairs, shielded versions. The range of cables has been designed to avoid propagation of fire and emission of toxic fumes in public places and industrial facilities in case of fire.These Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cables and wires can be offered as single wires, shielded cables or multi-core cables jacketed with Axon' special compounds. They are designed to resist temperatures ranging from -50°C to +250°C. LSZH cables offered by axon' are made with tin plated copper, nickel plated copper, copper alloy, or silver plated copper conductor. They are insulated with special halogen free insulating material including Poliax™, Neutrax™, Polyimide, Axon Special Compound. This is an ideal solution for cabling of buildings, trains, subways, ships, industrial premises and all public places where security of people and material have to be assured

Axon' offers an extended range of equipment wires and cables for any applications requiring resistance to high temperatures. Different types of constructions can be proposed and delivered ex stock. They are designed to resist high temperatures ranging from -90°C to +260°C depending on the insulation material ; PTFE, ETFE, FEP or polyimide. They are made with silver plated or nickel plated conductor copper alloy, tin, silver or nickel plated copper. They can be used for various applications: aeronautics, automotive, space telecommunications, electronics, military equipment, general industry, ...

Axostrip® is a range of flat cables with round pins which can be soldered or inserted to achieve board to board interconnections. They are made with tin plated copper conductors insulated with polyester or polyimide. These Round-end Flat Cables (RFC) are characterized by their high resistance to bending and vibration. Their insertion is fast and easy.

Axon' offers a complete range of coaxial cables designed to transmit signals with minimum distortion and attenuation while preventing the reception of outside interference. Several versions are available : siingle or double screen, triaxial cables, low noise and sub-miniature coaxial cables. Axon' coaxial cables are made with silver plated copper conductor insulated with various materials including PTFE, FEP, celloflon® (axon' patented porous PTFE). The screen is made with silver plated copper and the outer insulating material can be made with PTFE, ETFE, FEP, or PFA. Coaxial cables can be offered with big diameters (for example 11.30 mm)

Axon' has developed picocoax® a complete range of miniature coaxial cables and harnesses for applications where a large number of signals have to be transmitted with no interference. They can be used for measurement equipment and medical devices. Picocoax miniature coaxial cables offer a good compromise between small diameter (for example 0.20 mm) and capacitance of 50 to 100 pF/m. Picocoax® miniature coaxial cables are made with silver plated copper alloy conductor and high performance dielectric materials including FEP or Celloflon (porous PTFE patented by Axon'). Axon' also offers multipicocoax made with bundles of 18 to 304 picocoax cables. These composite cables are very flexible.

Flexforce™ power cables are flexible composite cables designed for applications where high currents have to be carried. Their main advantages are as follows: high current carrying capacity, very good resistance to cut-through, to high temperature (150 C°). Possibility of shielding for excellent EMI protection. Resistance to fluids (hydraulic liquid, mineral oil, gasoline, diesel). Flexforce flexible power cables are made up of extra-flexible tin plated copper conductors insulated with FEP or Axon's special high temperature thermoplastic ASC15 and including separating tapes.

Vibraflame® is a range of cables designed to resist extreme temperatures ranging from -196°C to +1565°C.These fire resistant range of cables do not propagate flame and do not contain asbestos. They can be used as control, coaxial or power feed cables. Axon’ offer extension and compensating cables for thermocouples insulated with vibraflame® material and resistant to temperatures of up to 1050°C. These heat resistant cables can be made with nickel plated copper, nickel alloy, nickel chrome, iron, constantan, copper alloy, cupronickel for extension and compensating cable. They are insulated with a special combination of mica, organic polymers and fibre glass. Applications include power and control cables in steel works, oil refinery, electric furnace, blast furnace,etc

AXON'CABLE offer lightweight microwave coaxial cables: they are 30% lighter than the avionics WN standard. Light and thin, they exhibit excellent mechanical and electrical performance. Construction Axon' lightweight coaxial cables are made with: an aluminium conductor and a Celloflon® dielectric (expanded PTFE), a silver plated copper braided shield, a reinforced aluminium braided shield and a FEP outer jacket. Can be terminated with (up to 18 GHz): SMA plug, straight or swept 90° TNC plug, straight or swept 90° N plug, straight or swept 90° N jack, straight up to 12 GHz. Applications Aircrafts, Helicopters.
