Actor in the field of instrumentation, Deltafluid offers measurement products in pyrometry. Our range includes thermometers to obtain direct indications of temperature but also temperature sensors (resistance probe, thermocouple, multi-point probe, pyrometer assembly ...) which can be coupled with transmitters.

The pyrometric assemblies are perfectly suited for high temperature applications: they are complete measuring assemblies with a mineral insulated thermocouple or a ceramic insulated protection and equipped with an outer protective mechanical tube. They are fitted with electrical connection devices and mechanical fasteners. The ceramic sleeve authorizes temperature measurement up to 1600°C, even 1800°C in some cases.

The sonic state of the nozzle means that the flow reaches the speed of sound when going through the throat. Under these conditions, the flow rate depends mainly on the upstream pressure and the fluid temperature. This makes it possible to deliver a stable and perfectly known flow, independent of the downstream pressure conditions of the nozzle. This nozzle is thus used to provide a standard flow value when it comes to calibrating another type of flow meter.

Different types of pressure transmitters exist: differential pressure transmitter for measuring a pressure difference ΔP but also a relative or absolute pressure transmitter. The flanges on the measuring elements and the piping allow easy assembly and disassembly unlike the welded assembly. Different types of flanges are available to meet all standards, all requirements in all areas of activity. Orifice flanges : They are used for flow measurement with orifice plates. They allow, thanks to the integrated pressure taps, to recover high and low pressure (Δp).

The resistance probe offers a measurement of great accuracy and very good long-term stability. A Pt 100 Ohm probe corresponds to a platinum resistance whose initial value is 100 Ohms for a temperature of 0°C. The measuring element consists of wound platinum wires whose resistance varies according to the temperature. The resistance / temperature correspondence is documented in the IEC 60751 standard. The temperature probe is often delivered with a connection head (see photo opposite).

The 1''/1'' flowmeter is also called a flowmeter with flange pressure taps. The high pressure upstream measurement is 1 inch from the upstream edge of the plate and, symmetrically, the low pressure measurement is 1 inch from the downstream edge of the plate. This is often a pre-assembled complete set with orifice plate mounted between orifice flanges. Orifice flanges are standardized and manufactured to ASME B16.36. The orifice plate is manufactured in accordance with ISO 5167 or ASME MFC-3M.

The annular chamber (carrier rings) is proposed for orifice plates, for venturis and for nozzles. It has several advantages: it favors the circulation of the fluid over the complete circumference of the pipework and offers a more stable and precise averaged pressure; in the case of the orifice plate, it also allows to change only the plate in case of maintenance or change of process compared to a monoblock where the complete system must be changed. This type of mounting is particularly recommended for pipe diameters smaller than DN50.
