Housing, grey cast iron. Bearing, ballbearing steel 100Cr6. Seal, rubber NBR. Pillow block bearings consist of a sealed singlerow ball bearing with a spherical outer ring which is mounted in a housing. Because of the spherical outer surface of the bearing, shaft misalignment can be compensated for. The bearings are manufactured with a plus tolerance. This results in transition or press fits when using shafts with htolerances. The shaft is secured by grub screws on the inner ring. In normal applications, pillow block bearings are maintenancefree due to the lifetime lubrication. In difficult environmental conditions relubrication can be carried out over the grease nipple. All housing dimensions are nominal dimensions for which the usual casting tolerances must be taken into consideration.

Grid spacing 50 ±0.02 mm. Tombstones with grid holes are used on horizontal machining centres. The alphanumerically labelled grid holes guarantee a defined assignment of clamping elements by repeat setups. The tombstones conform to machine tables for machine tools acc. to DIN 55201 and JIS 6337-1980. Please order locating pins for positioning subplates on machine tables acc. to DIN 55201 separately. Please order protection plugs to plug unused grid holes separately. Ring bolts for hoisting are supplied. Other dimensions available on request. Grid hole pitch 25 ±0.01 mm or 50 ±0.01 mm. Grid hole plugs and ring bolts for lifting are supplied. These subplates conform to subplates for machine tools according to DIN 55201 and JIS 6337-1980.
