Gutbrod stands for innovative ideas and a dedication to service in coating with fluoropolymers and other technical, high-performance materials. Using products with the name, a chemical and acid resistant inner coating that is sustainable and cost-effective can be applied to special tank systems and containers through an access port. The material for this Fluorpolymer-coating, which will be applied with a specific method, is highly resistant against chemicals and acids, and has extraordinarily advantages, compared with common coating and lining systems.

Our range, based on high performance melt processable fluoropolymers such as ECTFE coating, PFA coating and ETFE coating has been formulated to provide enhanced toughness and chemical protection. F-LON® High Build surface coatings have been specifically developed to satisfy the most demanding requirements of the processing industries including organic and inorganic chemical manufacture and the food processing and pharmaceutical industries. Our internal reinforcement technology also enables application thicknesses in excess of 1.0mm (depending on the component) further enhancing liquid and vapour resistance. Desired thicknesses are attained by the application of multiple spray coats with high-temperature oven-fusion cycles between each coat. Rotation of parts during coating minimises the effects of thermoplastic melt flow.

Xylan and Dupont coatings have a broad range of properties which make them ideal for an infinite variety of applications. They differ from traditional fluoropolymer coatings in one very important aspect: they are composite materials. Lubricants with the lowest-known coefficient of friction are combined with the newest high temperature-resistant organic polymers. Together, they form “plastic alloys” with unique properties: - Low coefficient of friction: as low as 0.02. - Superb wear resistance: even under extreme pressure. - Outstanding corrosion and chemical resistance: in most environments. - Wide operating-temperature range: from -195°C to +285°C (-385°F to +545°F). - Wide colour range: to colour-code products.
