A chemical reactor functions as an enclosed vessel where chemical reactions occur. It's crucial for process designers to ensure the reaction proceeds efficiently toward the desired product, maximizing yield while minimizing costs associated with procurement and operation. Operational expenses encompass factors like energy input and disposal, raw material costs, labor, and other associated charges. Typically, reactants and products within the reactor are in fluid form, either gases or liquids. Continuous reactors maintain a constant operational state, while batch reactors undergo transient operation. Transient operation occurs when a reactor is activated for the first time or following a shutdown, with critical process variables fluctuating over time.

Soluble Cutting Fluid is a high-quality, chlorine-free cutting oil enriched with borates. It is engineered to excel in light to moderate machining operations, covering a wide range of tasks such as boring, milling, drilling, tapping, threading, broaching, turning, reaming, and grinding. This cutting fluid is known for forming dependable and stable white emulsions with a generous “emulsion reserve.” It showcases remarkable resistance to bacterial degradation, ensuring a longer service life. Importantly, it contains no free phenolics or nitrites. Additionally, it exhibits minimal foaming tendencies when applied in various machining applications, making it a reliable choice for precision operations.

Impregnation systems to close micropores in metal castings as well as in copper, aluminium or magnesium alloy castings. The parts to be impregnated are fixed in baskets. The latter are transported by a special crane system as well as with reservoir roller conveyors. Excess material is removed by centrifuging of the baskets. The impregnating agent remaining in the pores in fluid form is hardened by heating in a hot water bath. The process sequence runs fully automatically under a microprocessor control.

System for the impregnation of electomagnetic coils, e.g. of electric motors, transformers, generators Impregnating in electricla engineering means applying an impregnating agent in gaseous or fluid form to a porous body in order to insulate it electrically, i.e. that reliable protection against electrical breakdown is provided even when the thickness of the insulating layer is small. For each application HÜBERS provides appropriate process. HÜBERS offers all relevant process variants including vacuum impregnation, vacuum-pressure impregnation and atmospheric impregnation and of these coupled with the use of the many different impregnating agents such as varnish, resin, oil, wax, gas etc. The processes of evacuating the parts prior to impregnation and if necessary of vacuum-drying the impregnated parts are matched to the properties of the parts and ensure that the agent wets the walls of the pores properly and fills the cavities completely.

Our SAMNOS fluids are almost 100% biologically degradable fluids that do not require labelling. No work-related dermatological illnesses have occurred to our knowledge. The lubricity is very high, and it has a very effective cooling ability. All SAMNOS fluids form a thin, water-soluble film that protects against corrosion. SAMNOS ZM-22W is a universal cooling lubricant that can be used with almost all materials and machining processes and evaporates up to 95% residue-free.

SAMNOS Standard is a processing medium that evaporates up to 97% residue-free. This fluid can be used with all materials, including plastic. Due to the special cooling properties of the fluid, SAMNOS Standard is used especially with very demanding machining processes.

Commonly found chemicals such as water, soap solutions or many others do not pose any harm, even occasional exposure to certain petrochemicals or harsher cleaning does not affect the material. In certain, and very rare, situations the anti-slip tape could be completely submerged under a liquid that is extremely aggressive. Some of our customers use problematic solutions; these could include high concentration MEK, toluene, acids, alkalis etc. For almost all applications our conventional Safety-Grip range performs brilliantly. In a small number of applications one of two situations can cause problems; 1. Chemical retention In this situation mild chemicals such as basic cleaning agents mixed with water and are trapped on the surface on the anti-slip tape with no way of escaping, the fluids form a reservoir and with no form of dissipation, over time, they can damage the resins that hold the minerals onto the plastic film.
