Promix specializes in demanding cooling and heat exchanger tasks such as cooling and heating of viscous or decomposition-sensitive media / plastic melts. The Promix P1 heat exchanger is the unique combination of a very efficient static mixer and a powerful cooler. The novel patented technology opens up completely new process engineering possibilities in the cooling and heating of plastic melts and other viscous fluids. The simultaneous mixing and cooling processes in the P1 allow for very efficient cooling and heating without the formation of deposits or the risk of product decomposition. The POLY-AT design offers exceptional flexibility when it comes to installations beneath the polymer melting reactor. Customers can choose from three different flange geometries to ensure they are always benefiting from the best combination of reactors and pump flanges from both a technical and economical perspective. The new gear geometries facilitate differential pressures of up to 320 bar for selected pump sizes. What’s more, the new design is rounded out with the usual variety of different material combinations. The most common of these combinations has to be a stainless-steel or carbon-steel housing with tool steel or aluminium-bronze friction bearings.

The optimal package size and shape of FIBALON®compact facilitates the handling. The innovative and patented polymer fiber filter consists of a combination of different polymer fibers with diverse surface structures and special fiber cross sections according to latest scientific findings. The deliberately chosen spherical shape maximizes the filter medias surface area. The interior of the fibrous ball consists of a slightly denser core and a softer wrap. The balls nestle together to form a consistent filter bed. We developed also the fiber fixation DyFix® which yields an unusually high particle retention rate and deep penetration of particles into the filter media bed to provide excellent filtration results. FIBALON®compact is the ideal replacement for smaller cartridges in Whirlpools, SPAs, Jacuzzis and for set-up pools. It is easier to clean and more long living than cartridges. Even the filtration is better than common filters.
