CSN® Explosionproof screw plug or flanged immersion heaters ( Ex ) are perfectly suited for direct heating of liquids or gas / air mixtures in hazardous areas. The devices are available with attached or integrated temperature monitoring systems. For these heaters various high quality stainless steel grades are available. The electical immersion heater type 94./..EEs….T.(.) is designed for the heating of liquids and quit gasair mixtures in the zone 1 and zone 2. The standars elements, mentioned in this list are suitable for DGRL (code 97/23/EG) Art. 3 Para. 3. The elements can be suited (on request) to other uses requiring another classification according to DGRL.

CSN® explosionproof flow heaters are used for heating up flowing gases and liquids in hazardous areas. Explosion-proof heaters - ATEX – Standard. Explosion-proof heaters are used in many industrial or commercial applications that are classified as hazardous areas. Our appliances are used to heat the ambient air of hazardous areas in zone 1 and 2, typically in chemical industries, paint and lacquer industries, sewage plants and mining. Heaters made of high-grade stainless steel are recommended for aggressive environments (e.g. sewage plants), while heaters with a painted or coated surface, also available with protection basket, are sufficient for standard applications. EEx’e’ certified electric duct air heater EEx e T2 – T6 ATEX The “LEH-Exe” type electric heaters comprise a range of certified EEx e air duct heaters, custom built to meet client specifications and suitable for use in zone 1 & 2 hazardous areas. The main applications are the heating of air in ventilation - / air conditioning or heat-recovery installations. Wide use areas are applications of the process - / environment-technology i.e. at the catalytic afterburning of exhaust fumes or drying ovens or in the plastic - / textile or paper industry. Through a variable construction concept, diverse use possibilities emerge. The application of highly compacted electrical heating elements with high purity compacted magnesium oxide powder sheathed metal tube and the direct heat transfer at the medium to be heated leads to an efficient realization of the electric energy to thermal energy. Special materials of acid constant rustproof steel stand for the heating of aggressive media by disposal. Alternatively, the heaters can be delivered also in the materials INCOLOY, INCONEL, HASTELLOY and MONEL. EEx’e’ certified electrical process flow heaters EEx e T1 – T6 ATEX The “STR-Exe” type electric process flow heaters are EEx e certified. These heaters are custom built to meet client specifications and suitable for use in zone 1 & 2 hazardous areas. The “STR-Exe type electrical process flow heater comprise a large range for industrial application. These heaters are supplied CE marked in acc. the latest CENELEC requirements or manufactured to the latest IEC standards. Typical electric process heaters applications include heating of liquids i.e. heat transfer oil or fuel oil, glycol reboilers and water heaters and heating of pressurized gases i.e. pressurized air, superheated water steam, nitrogen or other compositions of gases. Thyristor control systems are also designed and supplied by OhmEx to control the range of electric process heaters. EEx’e‘ certified immersion heater EEx e T1 – T6 ATEX The “FHK-Exe” type electric immersion heaters are EExe certified. These heaters are custom built to meet client specifications and suitable for use in zone 1 & 2 hazardous areas. The range of immersion heaters type FHK-Exe offers an economic heating solution for process tanks, pressure vessels and similar plant. The standard heater consists of a number of rod elements TIG welded into a process flange. A robust Ex’e’ terminal box protects the electrical connections. The number of elements fitted depends upon the media to be heated and the kilowatt rating required. Dependent on application, the heater can be provided with temperature control by contactor or thyristor.

Flameproof mini line heaters ATEX Ex II 2 G Ex’d’ IIC T4-T6 nach EN60079-0 und EN60079-1 The Exheat range of flameproof mini line heaters consist of a screw plug or flanged type immersion heater mounted in a thermally insulated heating vessel. They are designed to efficiently transfer heat to a flowing medium (liquid, air or gas). All flameproof heaters are fully ATEX certified and designed for use in zone 1 & 2 hazardous areas, gas group IIC.
