EL PAL is a secure robotic cell for palletizing open trays, closed trays, plastic crates, bundles, etc. This robot is integrated with existing equipment to increase efficiency by having an optimized pallet. EL STEP combines the operations of cardboard overpacking and packaging in a single machine block. This equipment can handle different formats of cups as well as bottles. This solution has a number of advantages. It combines compactness, flexibility, performance and ergonomics. The equipment’s four stations (destacking, transfer, folding-gluing and packaging) take up very little space (3x6 m). The machine’s modular architecture and the choice of sequential multi-row operation allows adaptation to the machine’s rates — from 30 to 200 overpackings per minute. EL WRAP is a continuous overwrapper for single cups or packs. This robot can be adapted to suit the desired packs: wrap-around cartons, economy or “drop-through” cartons and can be adapted to any pack size (1x2, 1x4, 2x2, 2x4, 4x4…). EL SLEEVE is a sleeving machine from the bottom-up. The continuous sleeving technology ensures repeatability for positioning of the sleeve graphic in relation to the lid graphic without turning the cups. This ultra-compact machine can sleeve cups at a speed of 43,200 cups per hour. EL SLEEVE is a flexible sleeving machine adaptable to any cup format on any FS or FFS line. Format change is fast and easy. Changing format does not mean necessarily changing tools.

EL MERGE is an automated merger tool. The products (single cups and packs) are either picked-up when stationary or dynamically grouped and picked-up without stopping. This equipment allows transfer of several tracks to one or more tracks. The stacks might be packed according to product heights.

EL GRIP transfers the cup from the outlet of an FFS machine to the downstream equipment. The flow of cups is fully controlled, and the products never accumulate, allowing the transfer of complex cups. Smooth cup pick-up and placement maintains the product integrity.

We develop fully automatic test systems for inclination sensors and inertial sensors (MEMS, tilt sensors) according to customer requirements. With these systems, combined temperature and motion simulation is possible. We set quality standards with rate tables from Acutronic, for example. With the help of multi-axis rate tables, we can precisely position DUTs in end-of-line (EoL) test operations or for development purposes and calibrate and test them under temperatures of e.g. -40°C and up to 120°C. Merecs Engineering can also connect the test system to our customer's IT infrastructure, set up databases and automatic data analysis using Mircosoft PowerBI, so that important key figures such as First Pass Yield (FPY), process capability, system availability, statistics and trends are continuously updated and displayed on online dashboards. For example, more than 100 DUTs are possible per test run.
