L’encodeur d’axe de WDG 58V a été particulièrement développé par Wachendorff pour le secteur alimentaire et pour le secteur pharmaceutique, où les demandes de l’hygiène et de la propreté sont la priorité première. Le logement et l’axe sont fabriqués en acier inoxydable V4A . Le PTFE a été choisi pour les joints radiaux deadroom-libres d’axe. Compact sized encoders series REC fit to any application where short body dimensions are required – the case length only measures 38 mm. REC encoders are available with different mechanical versions: with round flange and servo copling (type REC520/REC540), square flange (REC620) or hollow shaft, with (REC450) or without elastic support(REC440). The case is out of strong aluminium and connections are ensured by the connector type M12, or optionally by cable. The encoder with M12 connector output is UL Listed for the canadian and US markets. The pulses per revolution number ranges from 2 to 12500.

The robust ERM modular magnetic encoders are especially suited for use in production machines. Their large available inside diameters, their small dimensions and the compact design predestine them for C axis on lathes / Rotary and tilting tables. For years, the ERMs have been the preferred encoders for C axes on lathes. Besides their high resistance to contamination, the large inside diameters are also important to allow bar material to be machined without limitations. Because of this design arrangement, the graduation of the ERM is usually on a much larger diameter than the workpiece. Position errors of the encoder therefore affect workpiece accuracy to a correspondingly reduced degree.
