A Class 3 AC (EN 50321-1:2018) electrically insulating dielectric boot with an integral steel toe cap. The Workmaster™ Dielectric HV3 boot allows high voltage live working at up to 26.5kV with every boot tested at 30kV.

An electrically insulating Class 2 dielectric boot with an integral steel toe cap and vulcanized rubber sole for superior slip resistance. The Workmaster™ Dielectric boot provides high voltage protection of up to 20kV over the complete boot for over 8 hours, and 35kV over the sole for 3 minutes. This high-voltage boot is suitable for use by electricians, utility engineers and live working up to 17kV.

The main reason for developing this material was to offer a halogenfree material according to IEC 61249-2-21 with outstanding heat and electrical insulation properties. Politubes produces various types of insulating Mylar, Nomex, Kapton, 2LSO, DMD tubes & insulator caps designed according to the requirements of hermetic closure, positioning, size and protection from chemical agents as required by our customers.
