It’s not only sewage and recycling plants that find it hard to avoid unpleasant odours; they can be an issue in food production and agricultural settings, too. However, integrating an exhaust-air system with an odour filter can help plant operators to minimize the odour levels which their employees, neighbours and the environment are exposed to. The modular Odour Emission Control OEC filter concept from Scheuch COMPONENTS reduces odours and significantly contributes to complying with and even undershooting the legal regulations and permissible limits for odour emissions. Depending on the intensity of the odour emissions and the size of the hall, the Scheuch OEC system is equipped with one or more biofilters which extract and clean the polluted air. Microorganisms contained in the filter’s bulk material ensure that odours are eliminated and the air is dehumidified. In a second step, a downstream duct filter removes dust and other particles from the air.

The Dusty C has been specially developed to monitor clean sides after filters with high reliability and without time delay for filter breaks. The smog filter is designed for effective filtration of the socalled particulate matter. The PM2.5 and PM10 particles are the main component of smog, which have an optical diameter of 2.5 and 10 μm (micrometers). The filtration efficiency (removal) of PM2.5 particles reaches up to 73%, and PM10 particles up to 81% (according to tests carried out with a dust particle measuring device). The smog duct filter consists of a sealed filter box and two filters prefilter and smog filter. It is recommended to install a smog filter on the supply ducts in domestic ventilation and heat recovery systems. In the MOCarzCA version prefilter I3 was replaced by an activated carbon prefilter (or activated charcoal). The main purpose of using such a material is deodorization of air and preliminary cleaning of dust and gaseous pollutants. Activated carbon has a huge adsorption surface, which effectively "binds" on its surface particles of pollutants, bacteria, hydrocarbons.

The Series Sz-5000 is a low cost, diaphragm operated, differential pressure gauge in a miniature housing with easy front access to the zero adjustment. The Sz-5000 can be used in applications for measuring positive, negative, or differential pressure with an accuracy of 5%. Standard applications include monitoring filter status, duct static pressure, room pressure, fan or blower pressure, paint booths, dust collectors, and cabinet purging along with many others.

The Series S2000 differential pressure gauges are low cost, diaphragm operated, mechanical differential pressure gauges that may be used in all applications where the Dwyer® Magnehelic® brand gages may be used. The Sensocon® Series S2000 differential pressure gauge can be used in applications for measuring positive, negative, or differential pressure with an accuracy of 2%. Standard applications include monitoring filter status, duct static pressure, room pressure, fan or blower pressure, paint booths, dust collectors, and cabinet purging along with many others.

EFKC filtered shelter fans are used to supply fresh air. It can be used in two different positions thanks to the by-pass cell. Normally, the air is sent indoors only by passing through the G4 Filter. When we want the air to be cleaned, it is passed through the G4 cassette filter, active carbon cassette filter and M6 cassette filter, which is more sensitive than the coarse filter, and sent indoors. By-pass air dams are made with a sliding system.
