GK40E Lab Stenter/Steamer is used for all drying, fixation and thermolising processes. Minimal space requirement allows the unit to be used in all kind of laboratories. GK40E can be used for any kind of materials and aplicaitons such as Textile Dyed samples curing, Textile printed samples fixation, Textile and Leather coating curing, Paint curing and fixation on Metal surface. The Sample Holders can be provided with pins, Clamps, Web or any special requirement. GK40E is used also at E-Control applications. It is equipped with own Steam generaqtor and Humidity control and adjustment unit.

After cleaning we use drying systems in order to achieve spotless drying, to protect corrosion-sensitive parts or to avoid water intake into production. The drying systems can be integrated in manual or fully-automatic cleaning processes. KLN manufactures various drying systems in several versions.

After cleaning, parts are normally dried. Efficient drying keeps cleaning medium consumption low, and thus helps protect the environment. In addition, drying effectively prevents recontamination and corrosion. When drying tightly packed or porous parts, drying at atmospheric pressure might not be effective, so that drying under vacuum is the only option.

!!!Not suitable for drying animal or vegetable products!!! VIBRATION DRYINGThe G-series dryer gently circulates your workpieces by means of vibration, together with the drying medium. The heated drying medium absorbs the moisture from your workpieces. In addition to drying your workpieces, the relative movement between them and the medium also has a polishing effect. PROTECTING YOUR SENSITIVE PARTS The bowl channel pitch is helically shaped and has no ramp, making the G dryer especially gentle when handling your workpieces. The high heating power is fully adjustable. The heater with replaceable heating elements is assembled separately from the vibrating section. To ensure your working environment is protected from dust, the dryer can also be fitted with a dust extractor.

The relaxation dryer serves for the drying, relaxing and shrinking of knitted fabric in tubular and openwidth form but can be used also for the treatment of woven fabric. Residual shrinkage is reduced to a minimum and the fabric gets a very good dimensional stability across the length and width and a fleecy, soft and voluminous touch. Depending on the customer’s requests and the needed capacity, the dryer is available with one, two or three fabric passages. This dryer is mainly used to finish articles made of natural fibres such as cotton, viscose and wool but also of blends thereof or blends with elastane, polyamide or polyester. Such fabric qualities are mostly further processed for underwear (ribware), nightwear (Interlock), polo shirts (Piqué), Tshirts (single jersey) or sweat shirts (fleece or sweatware). The residual shrinkage is reduced to a minimum and the fabric gets a very good length and width stability and a fleecy, soft and voluminous handle.

Using negative air pressure, the Dry Destoner makes the wheat flow on an air cloud. The heavier foreign materials (stones, glass etc.) stay on the vibrating sieve. The PAD-V adiabatic system is the optimal solution for increasing the efficiency of air systems, with capacities from 75 to 1,100 kW. Dry operation during cold periods: ambient air is drawn in and conveyed to the heat exchange coils (where the fluid to be cooled passes through): no water in the circuit, as during standard dry cooler operations. Energy use is also optimized by electronically modulated fan speeds based on temperatures. Adiabatic operation during hotter periods: outside air passes through the humidifier pack to be pre-cooled, before being conveyed to the finned coils and performing its cooling function: efficiency is increased. This also makes it possible to work at lower ambient temperatures.

RAW/E liquid coolers (water, water/antifreeze) operate through a closed circuit, consisting of a finned coil crossed in countercurrent by ambient air. Due to the sizing of the coil, it is possible to achieve process fluid temperatures close to the temperature of the intake air. They are industrial chillers designed for fluids between 0°C up to 70°C, with external temperatures between -10°C and +50°C: cooling powers available as standard from 64 kWf up to 782 kWf, considering a 10°C difference between ambient air and supply water. “RAW” series chillers are environmentally friendly machines: the fluids used in the cooling process are simply water/antifreeze (fluid to be cooled) and ambient air (cooling fluid). In addition, the use of high quality materials allows the achievement of high efficiency values (ratio of kWf rendered in cooling to kW absorbed in power consumption).
