1, 2 and 3 Cartesian axis linear modules with rack and pinion drive guarantee precise manipulation of loads from 10 up to 2000 kg with fast and silent functioning. Shuttle system for moving robots and heavy loads for long distances with high dynamics. The motion system is available with recirculating ball guides or rollers while the driving system has been designed with rack and pinion. The shuttle is equipped with adjustable ties to achieve alignment even on irregular surfaces. Cable carrier and dampers at the stroke end are included. The Model PMH easily accommodates quick change-overs. The fixture is simply replaced at the base of the machine, and the pin diameter is easily changed by switching the pin driving chuck. The precisely machined rack and casting results in smooth operation, precise positioning, repeatability, and durability. The Model PMH Heavy Duty Manual Pin Inserter installs pins ranging in diameter from 0.8mm-10mm (.031”-.375”) with a maximum insertion force of 6.7 kN (1,500 lbs).

In general, they rotate the gripper that grips the part. These modules are equipped with hydraulic dampers and inductive sensors, the rotation guidance is ensured by 2 ball bearings that allow this module to be used in all directions, even with offcentered payload. Rotary cylinder without angular play at end of stroke The end stops located under the plate allow there to be no shock in the rack and pinion transmission and no angular play at the end of the stroke. The absence of angular play allows use in assembly or precise positioning applications with 2 positions and the absence of impact in rack

The aisle-bound MONO series has proved a favourite with customers because of its optimum use of space. Minimum approach dimensions at the end of the aisle and at the top and bottom of the travel plus no-buffers end-of-aisle protection permit full exploitation of the storage space. And then there’s the speed factor as well: good travelling speed and acceleration figures ensure efficient storage and retrieval, also during peak times. Depending on requirements, our MONO storage retrieval machines (SRMs) can be fitted with one, two or three drives. Where very high maneuverability is required, DAMBACH also makes use of an interlocking drive concept with a toothed rack. That results in throughput rates that are otherwise only seen in automated small parts warehouses. Another benefit of the toothed rack drive is the low load on the running wheels and the rails.
