Heat, cold, damp and UV radiation from the sun, as well as wood-destroying fungi, are constant sources of stress for front doors. The new generation boasts extraordinary scratch resistance, even greater hardness, excellent economy and more efficient drying. With Aquawood Protor, ADLER provides an innovative system, which meets the highest quality demands, whilst being easier to process and reducing material costs – ALL IN ONE. In the case of this system too, ADLER naturally builds on decades of experience in the research and development of water-thinnable surface coatings.

The ICE 4, which was jointly developed by Siemens and Bombardier, is fitted with GRP door supports from TC. The door supports are installed immediately above the sliding doors. The 14 different types of door support are based on a GRP pultruded profile. The door support is a highly complex component which TC has once again been about to demonstrate its performance as a systems supplier. It consists of different aluminium profiles, brackets for the power supply and emergency brake, and infrared sensors. In addition, many door supports are fitted with a lockable flap and toilet ‘occupied’ displays. All of the adhesive bonds on the door support meet the requirements of DIN 6701. The entire door support is painted in two colours.

In addition, we also recommend it for all DIY painted MDF projects as it is less prone to fibre lift when painted. Using this product will save you a lot time and preparation to achieve perfectly smooth edges.

Riga Preprime Birch plywood overlaid on one or both faces with a preprimed painting film ready for painting, without further priming or other preparations.
