Product Features: • Rugged, diecast aluminium alloy (tough - yet easy to machine), electronic instrument enclosure. • Factory powder coated to save stomp box manufacturers and experimenters time and money. • Coated with a smooth gloss polyester powder coat for a lasting finish, even after machining. • Smooth finish allows for easy adhesion of labels and/or silk screens. • Colours are matched to standard RAL colours. • Lap joint construction provides protection against access of dust and splashing water. Also provides for improved EMI/RFI shielding. • Designed to meet IP54. Fixers are substances with the function of preparing the raw glaze layer for decoration by means of a thin film of material applied as a wet mist. These materials facilitate silk-screening and prevent sticking and displacement of the decorative layer by the silk-screen itself.

Neutral and coloured silk-screen inks for third-fire applications are formulated materials especially suited to short, low temperature firing cycles (As low as 800 degrees centigrade, and as short as 30 minutes).

Neutral silk-screen inks consist of a diverse range of materials and effects, with particle sizes inferior to 45 microns. They are used in the preparation of inks with vehicles of varying viscosity dictated by the printing method used. Coloured silk-screen inks are produced with high speed mixing technologies.

Bright silver paste to be applied over vitrified surfaces of porcelana, earthenware and glazed tile using silk-screening methods. Differing grades of purity are available to satisfy the diverse needs of the market. Firing temperatures range from 740 to 850 degrees centigrade.

Ceramic frits are vitreous material used in the preparation of most products intended for the decoration of ceramic tiles such as glazes, silk-screen inks, granite, granules, etc. They are obtained by melting at high temperature (between 1350º and 1550º) and then quickly cooling raw materials.
