Tecnimodern's slanted or vertical form fill and seal machines with very low loading height allow the production of polyethylene or polypropylene film bags from a flat film roll. The film can be neutral or coloured, with continuous printing or centred with print mark. These TEC30 packaging machines have the advantage that they can be equipped with either a thermal sealing system for heat-sealed films or an impulse sealing system for polyethylene films, depending on requirements. A single-acting rod seal, Zurcon® L-Cup® is an alternative to the U-Cup. It is a highly effective sealing system offering optimized sealing performance and extended service life. With exceptionally low friction properties, it has high wear resistance, back pumping ability along with high static and dynamic tightness.

In heavy duty applications, leak free performance and high service life cannot be assured by a single sealing element; therefore, specially developed ”system seals” are arranged in series, building a ”tandem configuration”. Each sealing element in a system has its specific function and their interaction needs to be secured to get a redundant sealing system. The primary seal in Zurcon® material has an excellent wear and extrusion resistance under extreme working conditions. It allows a fine lubrication film passing this first barrier, ensuring the necessary lubrication of the secondary sealing element for long service life. The ”tandem arrangement” requires an outstanding back-pumping ability of the primary seal and the secondary seal, if a double acting scraper is installed.

These enclosures consist of polycarbonate (operating temperature : -40°C to +125°C). The lid and the base are equipped with a tongue and groove sealing system with a neoprene gasket.

The K-Prema Internal Sealing System is designed for the rehabilitation and repair of pipelines that have a diameter ranging from 500 to 4000mm. The K-Prema Liner End Seal prevents any debris from entering the gap between the liner and the host pipe and is available for pipes from 200mm to 1400mm in diameter. Manufactured to suit a range of drinking and sewage water, oil and air applications, the K-Prema range can be utilised on an array of pipe materials including concrete, steel, cast iron, PE, glassfibre and other materials. K-Prema is WRAS approved for use in potable water pipelines and will withstand an internal pressure of 20 bar.
