Viacat 4100 (Monobutyltin Oxide) is a white powder which has C4H10O2Sn as chemical formula. It is an noncorrosive organotin compound which can be used in the synthesis of saturated polyester in powder coatings, insulating varnishes and coil coatings. Monobutyltin Oxide is also known as butylhydroxostannane, butylstannonic acid and butylhydroxytin oxide. APPLICATIONS (D601) Bonds a wide variety of similar and dissimilar substrates. Bonds EPDM rubber profile or weather strips. Bonds sound dampening materials. Suitable for foam gasketing and more especially ester, ether and urethane foams. is a 23µ m clear polyester film double coated with a special formulated silicone adhesive on the closed side and an acrylic adhesive on the open side, with 110µm total thickness excluding liners.
