It is a glass fibre tape covered with a thick layer of red silicone rubber which provides the tape with a high level of heat insulation. It is a very flexible tape, which is suitable for protecting hoses and electric cables by means of bandaging without having to disassemble or disconnect the parts to be covered. Most common applications: Repair of electrical wire cover. Airtight sealing of telecommunication cables. Insulation, waterproof and protection of electric components. Thickness: 0.3mm-1mm Weatherproof covering for thermal insulation of pipework and ventilation trunking. Premium self-amalgamating tape is also available. It is ideal for jointing and fixing of cables up to 69KV.
