Large grip ranges and higher shear and tensile forces - OPTO®-Bulb is the universal rivet for difficult jobs.The OPTO®-Bulb is combining the flexibility of multigrip rivets with the excellent strength of the FERO®-Bulb series. It offers a secure locking of the remaining mandrel as well as a smooth formed closing head.

Durable, robust, and reliable: the hand tool VNG 371 for the processing of blind rivet nuts (M5 to M10) and blind rivet bolts (M5 to M8). The VNG 371 is supplied in an impact-resistant plastic case and equipped with a comfortable drill rod for the easy lowering of the set connector and a quick-change system for the mandrels.

The strong CERTO®-PERFECT special sealed blind rivet forms a large and smooth closing head by its special clamped rivet sleeve. According to the ARCO body-bound rivet the folding rivet forms a large upset head too. Thisguarantees an equal distribution of forces, so that especially plastics and other soft or vulnerable materials resist against cracking or pullthrough. Typically this rivet is used in all areas of industrial light weight constructions. As a result of the locked mandrel in the connection, the spread rivet is splash water resistant. VVG offers two different types – the standard split rivet and a high strength version with neoprene washer.

RIFBOLT blind rivet studs consist of a sleeve and a screw, which are joined together by welding or crimping. As special production components we can use different lenghts and types of screws can be used as well as almost every rivet nut sleeve. Blind rivet studs offer a multiple use. Especially with coated components or when using tools smaller working stroke you can achieve excellent results.

FERO-BOLT high-strength blind rivets are first-class fasteners for industrial applications, especially in those with the attension to the safety factor. Grounding blind rivets offer a simple and reliable way of grounding a product. This is achieved by pressing the respective toothing on the conductor in the material. The grounding conductor can be used with standard cable sockets easily. The processing of grounding blind rivets can be doen with all kinds of standard type rivet tools.

One blind rivet nut for all grip ranges. The innovative and patented development of the Honsel-Group was in 2007 the first mass-production multigrip blind rivet nut. The product has a lot of advantages over the common standard types like no mixing of different grip ranges, reduction of storrage and failure costs or the reduction of item diversity.

Originally designed and produced as a special solution, the nut has been incorporated directly into the standard range due to the great interest shown. The blind rivet nut is set with a projection of 0 mm in smooth holes, without countersinking. The elimination of the "countersinking" process at the hole offers enormous savings potential. Thanks to the 0 mm protrusion, components can be assembled without interfering edges or can slide over each other. . Pre-assembled components are easier to install. . no more interfering edges . no gap between the components due to protruding heads . no more beading or countersinking required for a head - therefore less tooling, fewer production steps and less material waste

The classic model. The designation ALFO® stands for the product range of HONSEL open standard blind rivets that are available with dome, countersunk or large dome head. It covers the versions and special types described in DIN EN ISO 15977 to 15984 as well as 16582 and 16584. “Special types” by our definition are rivets with a function as described in the above standards, but with differences in certain dimensions, functional properties or material combinations.

In the processing of blind rivets, the lever tool BZ 70 covers the range from 3.0 up to 6.0 mm (aluminum). The main focus of this type of tool is on an especially durable and robust construction for daily use in workshops or on construction sites. Supplied in an impact-resistant plastic case. The replacement nosepieces are stored in a locked box integrated in the mandrel container.

The lazy tong rivet tool BZ 58 can process blind rivets with a diameter up to 6.4 mm (aluminum) reliably and powerfully. Nose pieces for chancing are inserted directly in the tool and are so always accessible. The tool has a comfortable handle with which the force can be optimally implemented. A typical application is the processing of large amounts of blind rivets into floors.

During the setting process, edges on the mandrel head cut the rivet shaft into four segments. These four segments then unfold on the component surface thus forming the large locking head. Once the mandrel reaches its predetermined breakload, the mandrel head falls out of the rivet body. The knurled shaft of the blind rivet nut provides a locking device to avoid the turning of the insert in the component. These knurled blind rivet nuts are used preferably in components with lower regidity (component material is less "hard" than the material of the blind rivet nut).They are available with different heads (dome, countersunk and small countersunk) and as open and closed end versions.

SCISSOR BLINDS The scissor blind is the most popular OHB blind. The roller blind can be adjusted steplessly with its scissor elements. There are not necessary any extra fastening elements. Therefore the scissor blind is preferably used wherever there is no possibility of fixing any additional hook-in pins or sidewise guiding rods. That is often the case with front screens. Of course the OHB scissor blind can also be used for side and rear windows. Patented, wear-bridging friction elements ensure the high lifecycle of the OHB scissor blind.
