The Basto Distillery is a distillation unit that revitalises the Basto region's ancestral methods for producing alcoholic beverages, with particular emphasis on burning wine and grape marc in an alembic. The Basto Distillery combines the traditional production of wine and grape marc spirits with the production of a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, either under its own brand or at the client's request. The valorisation of by-products from wine production is one of the focuses of the project behind the distillery, fostering the circular economy in the agricultural sector. At the same time, the implementation of alcoholic beverage projects for third parties allows for the expansion of production to all types of distilled beverages, contributing to the diversification of the local productive economy.

We gather in small groups and make a 2 hours bicycle tour on a tandem through the fascinating countryside of the Lys. Each group is accompanied by a guide who will give a brief explanation of the most interesting and beautiful sights. The idyllic villages of Sint-Martens-Latem and Deurle gained their international reputation thanks to the great number of artists that settled here during the first half of the 20th century. The fractioning (distillation) unit СЕЛИВАНЕНКО® is a new stage in the development of craft distillation. The perfection of elements and a balanced design, the absence of unnecessary components and a great-looking – this is what the team of engineers headed by Igor Selivanenko worked for. The unit allows operating both in the “potstill” mode in order to obtain wash distillate and distillate product, and in the distillation mode in order to obtain high-quality alcohol. Adapt the equipment to your needs. Using standard connectors allows you to make configuration changes and easy upgrades to suit your needs.
