Metal die casting – is a production technology of castings, in which the alloy under pressure up to 700 MPa quickly fills the mold. Products made in this way can be of different sizes and have weigh up to several kilograms. As a basic raw material normally are used following: non-ferrous metals — copper, aluminum, and their alloys. Die casting makes it possible to obtain high-precision products (along with such technology as powder metallurgy, which allows to obtain sintered metal parts that are particularly hard and wear-resistant). Our company offers the manufacture of parts for LED lighting and other high quality castings. One of the main advantages of die casting is the resistance of finished products to corrosion. The fact is that in the process of their manufacture a strong surface crust is formed, which has a high density and low moisture permeability.

Eurobalt Engineering provides die casting services for the companies that manufacture lighting products for different industries. Our company mainly produces street lamp housings and cooling radiators using aluminium alloys for LED lighting systems manufacturers. Our die casting services are exceptionally cheap and high-quality – aluminium parts turn out cheaper than if similar parts are produced using other methods. Although aluminium die casting parts are not so durable and long-lasting, they are also lighter and have a high thermal conductivity, which is very important in the production of LED lighting systems.

Also provides for improved EMI/RFI shielding. • Unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. • Textured black version is coated with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining. Black screws are included to enhance appearance. • Includes screws threaded into factory-tapped holes. Screw type and quantity vary. • Standard versions are designed to meet IP54. • Water-tight versions are designed to meet IP65 and include a gasket. Access to blind holes is outside of gasket ring for superior protection. • Unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. • Textured black version is coated with tough polyester powder for a lasting finish, even after machining. Finish is applied to the entire enclosure (inside and out). • Lid secured with either two, four or six (count varies with size) stainless steel, Philips head, counter sunk, machine screws - into factory tapped holes.

Product Features: • Rugged, diecast aluminium alloy (tough yet easy to machine), electronic instrument enclosure. • Available in natural vibra finish OR in light textured, black powder paint. • Unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. • Painted version is painted with tough satin black polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining. Black screws are included to enhance the assembled appearance. • Lap joint construction protection against access of dust and splashing water. Also provides for improved EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure does not provide shielding when water-tight gaskets are installed. • M3.5 x 0.6 x 12mm long stainless steel, Philips head, machine screws secure lid into factory tapped holes. • Designed to meet IP54 without a gasket or IP66 with a gasket. IP67 upgraded gaskets are available. • All sizes except 1550Z101** carry an impact rating of IK08 per IEC62262.

Gasket supplied loose inside the enclosure (not pre-installed). • Gasket has a temperature rating of -40C to +150C. • Ideal for repetitive opening and closing. • Four recessed stainless steel machine screws secure lid into tapped holes. • Easy to wall mount using "through box - blind hole" construction, outside of gasket protection. • Lid screws are self captivating (lid holes are threaded with the first installation of lid screws).
