ERC Guard Thermic for low-sulphur heating oil with a bio share and all other DIN heating oils slows the natural ageing of heating oil and contains an organic combustion enhancer. The Effect ERC Guard Thermic slows the natural ageing of heating oil. Stabilisers prevent components of the heating system from releasing into the heating oil and forming sediments, and/or accelerating the ageing of the heating oil. In the process, select active ingredients neutralise the ions already in the heating oil and apply a protective coating to the metal surfaces, which suppresses the release of new ions and protects against corrosion. In addition, the additive prevents the formation of resin-like, adhesive ageing products which arise due to the high thermal load of the heating oil within the pump and can block it. At the same time, lubrication of the pump is improved.

EXCOR PERIGOL 100 is suitable for corrosion protection of ferrous metals, uncoated or partially galvanised steel, cast iron and other metals. PERIGOL 100 may be applied using immersion or spraying techniques. EXCOR PERIGOL 100 corrosion protective oil only requires a brief drip-off time and when applied can resist temperatures of up to approximately 50º Celsius. Solvent-free PERIGOL 100 forms an oily, non-wipeproof film on the metal surfaces which may be removed using aqueous alkaline media.

EXCOR PERIGOL VCI 230 is used to provide corrosion protection for ferrous metals, steel, cast iron, copper and aluminium alloys as well as fully or partially galvanised steel. Solvent-free PERIGOL VCI 230 contains vaporising corrosion inhibitors and may be applied via immersion, spraying or brushing. This product has been specially developed for the protection of metallic cavities. Thanks to the VCI it contains, coating the floor of a case suffices to protect the inner walls from corrosion. PERIGOL VCI 230 is compatible with a wide variety of engine and gear oils, meaning as a rule it does not have to be removed after shipment. In direct contact with metal surfaces PERIGOL VCI 230 forms an oily, non-wipeproof film on the metal surfaces which may be removed using aqueous alkaline media.

EXCOR VALENO Trays and Containers are made of hard plastics based on polyethylene and polypropylene and manufactured using deep-drawing or injection moulding techniques. The durability of these containers makes them the ideal choice for multiple uses, or may with narrower walls be employed as single-use packaging. EXCOR UNICO is a soft open-cell foam 5 mm thick which has been impregnated with VCI. Thanks to its cellular structure it has a very large diffusing surface area which means that the VCIs rapidly reach saturation point within the packaging. UNICO foam can be used as a VCI booster in very voluminous film packages. UNICO foam is available in rolls or sheets. It is odour-free, dry and resistant to ageing. If you wish to attach it to walls or lids EXCOR can supply the product fitted with a self-adhesive strip.

EXCOR VALENO Skin Film adheres to the packed product as tightly as a second skin and retains the product on the so-called skinboard. VCI skin packages are particularly suitable for protecting small items and replacement parts from mechanical and corrosive damage. In practical applications it is advisable to combine EXCOR VALENO Skin Film with EXCOR ABRIGO Skinboard because fibre boards with no corrosion protection can induce corrosion if they come into direct contact with metal surfaces. All EXCOR VALENO Skin Films are suitable for use in packing machines.

EXCOR ABRIGO Corrugated Board with integrated EXCOR corrosion protection is one of the most economical VCI packaging solutions. It is frequently used for the storage and/or transportation of corrosion-sensitive components such as brake disks, crankshafts, valves and springs. Sheets of ABRIGO Corrugated Board can be manufactured as a one-sided or two-sided product and used as interleaving sheets for stackable items.

The EMIBO Nature VCI dispenser capsule consists of 100 percent natural raw materials. While the shell is made of tough cardboard, the VCI carrier inside the capsule consists of multi-layered technical filter paper. For faster VCI release and improved circulation, EMIBO Nature uses an innovative VCI chamber system. In addition to a rapid build-up of the VCI protective atmosphere, EMIBO Nature offers a reservoir of active ingredients that maintains its protective function even under extreme climatic conditions. As a handy accessory, the VCI dispenser made of pure cellulose is particularly suitable for one-way packaging. It is simply disposed of as waste paper.

The paper is a particularly economical choice because can precisely plan the amount you need.

Ready-made bags and covers simplify the packing process and provide a sealed protective area. EXCOR VALENO Bags and Covers are made from a protective polyethylene film. The EXCOR VCI substance impregnated into the polyethylene provides metal products with long-term protection. Additional extras are available such as self-sealing, customer-specific printing, ESD protection, fire retardant properties, specific mechanical strength properties and transparency and may be combined as desired.

VALENO Stretch Film is a universal medium for the shape-hugging wrapping of merchandise stacked in open containers and the secure bundling of shaped pieces and tubing, while also providing a protective skin for metal parts and coils. Its smooth outer surface prevents wrapped merchandise packages from adhering to each other and facilitates the handling of stretched packages. The VCI corrosion protection integrated into the polyethylene-polymer matrix of EXCOR VALENO Stretch Film is active on both sides. VALENO Stretch Film can be used both manually and in packing machines.

As compared with conventional LDPE and HDPE films, multi-layer, diagonally laminated EXCOR VALENO X Film delivers extremely good strength properties. These make it ideal for multiple uses, while the ability to use both sides without having to worry about the effective direction provide additional operational security. EXCOR VALENO X Film is ideally suitable for packaging very bulky objects such as machinery, particularly if severe mechanical stresses are anticipated during transport. As single or multiple use packaging, VALENO X Film often comes in the form of covers specifically designed to fit the shape of the merchandise to be transported, complete with special closure and fastening accessories.

EXCOR desiccant bags BALESO are made of 100% natural bentonite (alumina) and are free of chemical additives. The wrapping material is available in two variants: low-dust (type A) and dust-tight (type B) desiccant bags, which are made of highly tear-resistant fleece in accordance with DIN 55473 specifications. Their use is environmentally friendly and there is no risk of skin contact. The bags are ready for use immediately after removal from the collective packaging. No additional handling is necessary. The desiccant bags should be placed in the packaging so that they do not come into contact with the metal. VALENO CAMPO comprises an inner layer with EXCOR VCI corrosion protection, a central barrier layer to prevent water vapour from penetrating and an outer layer providing UV stabilisation. After all, you can never be too safe.

EXCOR VALENO fleece is durable, pliant, hydrophobic and soft, making it ideal for protecting parts with delicate surfaces from corrosion and mechanical damage. Due to its open-pored fleece structure the VCI substances vaporise more rapidly, swiftly building up a protective atmosphere. This high VCI concentration also makes EXCOR VALENO fleece ideal as a VCI depot for long-term packages.
