The Kuhnke FIO Controller 116 CNC is a PLC based on i.MX6 with integrated CODESYS PLC. In addition to the POUs made available in CODESYS SoftMotion, CODESYS SoftMotion CNC contains POUs for CNC functionality, different kinematic transformations with the appropriate visualization templates and the robotics axis group editor. It is able to exchange data with other systems via industrial Ethernet and RS232. In addition, a built-in SD-card slot and a USB-interface allow local storage of process data. An interrupt input allows realizing fastest possible reactions on specific process events.

Kendrion offers for its CODESYS-based controllers a library with blocks for motion control functions according to PLCopen for various drive controllers. The Kuhnke Motion Control library provides a wide range of function blocks for parameterization, positioning and diagnostics of the drive. The blocks are simple and intuitive to use and support in all phases of the workflow e.g. during programming, commissioning, diagnostics and maintenance. The motion task in the control system can thus be programmed simply, quickly and thus economically. CODESYS Starterkit HMI Extension Easy visualization. Each Kuhnke CODESYS Starterkit can easily be extended by a CODESYS HMI Touch display. Only connect the display to the Starterkit via an Ethernet cable, connect in with power supply and download a project on the HMI device. The digital Kuhnke FIO I/O modules relay the binary control signals to the actuators and analyze the input signals of the automation device galvanically separated from the process level. The Kuhnke FIO DI16 / DO16 module has 16 outputs, each output can be loaded with up to 0.5A. In addition the module offers 16 inputs with an input delay of 1ms. Heating systems for frost protection in cold stores and freezer rooms offer a reliable precaution against frost damages and humidity wherever the natural thermal fl ow is not suffi cient for preventing a freezing of humidity in the foundation. For controlling these heating systems, Klöpper Therm developed a new controller offering maximum safety and convenience apart from the approved precise and reliable control. The frost protection controller can easily be confi gured and monitored via web interface. The integrated wake on LAN function enables the booting up of a PC in case of failures (e.g. in a control room) and informs the operating personnel about the type and place of failures.

Kuhnkes FIO Safety SDI16/SDO2 is a safety I/O terminal featuring 16 safe digital input channels and four safe digital output channels. This expansion module from Kuhnke's FIO range easily integrates in any EtherCAT® network. 16 inputs pick up sensor readings via floating 24 VDC contacts while four outputs send up to 0.5 A of current per channel to 24 VDC actuators. In case the EtherCAT terminal detects a fault it changes to a safe state (fail safe). Kuhnkes FIO Safety PLC is a module intended to expand EtherCAT networks. Acting as the FSoE master, it is able to address any FSoE slave including safety I/Os, motion controllers valve islands and other FSoE equipment. The Safety PLC meets the requirements of IEC 61508 SIL3 and DIN EN ISO 13849 PLe. CODESYS version 3.5SP8 or higher is used for programming. The CODESYS safety function modules have been certified previously thus considerably reducing the efforts of developing, verifying and approving a safety application. The main controller's CODESYS environment and the EtherCAT link are used for programming.

The application on the data servers is web-based and can be accessed with any browser from your PC, smartphone or tablet. The VPN connection provides a secure remote connection for monitoring, programming or troubleshooting on the machine control. The IXrouter is a combined Industrial VPN Router and IoT-Edge Gateway and connects your machine controller, HMI, robots and all other industrial devices in your machine.
