This miniature force sensor was optimised with respect to its height and is, at only 3.4 mm, the lowest known sensor with strain gage technology. Hardly higher than the diameter of its connection cable, it can also be housed in conditions where space is limited. Along with its minimal geometry, the force sensor is also particularly light. It has a high resonance frequency to follow quickly changing load alternations. Despite its extreme miniaturisation, in its application it remains completely robust and suitable for industry, not only with regard to the highly flexible cable connections or the full welding of sensors for the measurement ranges ≥ 0 … 10 N. The miniature compression force sensors are flat, cylindrical discs with covered bottoms. The central load application button for taking on compression forces is an integrated part of the top, which is the sensor‘s membrane.

BIEGLO offers polyimide powders for various processes. The Dexnyl PI powder is available in two different particle sizes. Our Dexnyl PI Powder 100P_19 suitable for compounding and compression molding application and our Dexnyl PI Powder 260_19 is suitable for producing compression molded and direct formed parts. The range of products that can be produced from our polyimide (PI) is only limited by the processing machines. Polyimide powder can be processed by hot compression molding, direct forming, iso-static compression molding or it can be compounded with other materials as an additive. Polyimide powder is often compounded with PTFE to increase certain properties of the PTFE.

The ultra-miniature compression load cell model 8416 is a flat, circular disc, the bottom of which is sealed with a cover. The load application button for receiving the compression forces is an integrated part of the sensor. The sensor element inside the body carries a strain gage full bridge which outputs voltage directly proportional to the measurement variable upon application of force. The short nominal measurement distance of the ultra-miniature compression load cells due to their design provides a high degree of rigidity. If needed, the nominal characteristic value can be standardized in the sensor connection cable.

The PFLITSCH CABseal is used to feed pre-assembled and non-assembled cables, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic lines, simply and reliably into control cabinets, primarily, but also into enclosures and machines. To this end, their sizes and dimensions of the frames are compatible with the common standard cut-outs and hole patterns in control cabinets so that just a single CABseal frame is required per cut-out. The CABseal cable entry system consists of four different sized frames and a number of cable grommets that can be equipped in various constellations. The grommets are slotted at the sides to make it easier to insert cables. While the frame is made of hard and robust polyamide, we use a flexible elastomer for the cable grommets and their special sealing lips. To ensure the cables are properly sealed, the grommets are positioned in the frame and compressed when the upper part of the frame is screwed down.
