The BL ident® interfaces are obtainable as a set together with the gateway and one to four RFID modules in IP20 or IP67. Also available are interfaces for connection to PROFIBUS-DP, EtherNet/IP™, Modbus TCP, DeviceNet™, PROFINET, CANopen und EtherCAT®. A maximum of 16 parallel operating channels are possible. Programmable gateways enable distributed and fast signal processing. Alternatively, the BL compact series offers customized interfaces in the form of compact, fully potted IP67 components.

The OVIBRA vibrating table is a machine type used to compact or form loose materials placed in molds (the molds are placed on the table top). The compacted material can be dry or wet. The drive of the Vibrating Table consists of electric vibrators. Rotating, unbalanced masses on the shafts of electric vibrators generate an extortion force whose vector has a linear shape. The forcing force causes the table to vibrate. Specific vibrations of the table cause the desired effect in the form of shaking and compaction of the material placed in the molds. The dimensions and method of mounting the molds on the countertop are selected depending on the customer’s requirements and the specificity of the process.

Vacuumfilters are used for the cleaning of contaminated cutting fluids in metal processing and rolling mill applications. The RUF briquetting systems of the Biomass series process dust, shavings and wooden chips into briquettes of consistently high quality and density. Varying bulk densities are offset automatically during the process. These materials can be pressed into a compact form without the use of binders. It is important that the moisture content of the chips is below 15%, preferably under 12%, and that the chip size does not exceed 50mm. The general rule is that the finer the material is, the smoother and more solid the surfaces and edges of the resulting briquette. The systems can be equipped with a multitude of options, thus optimally adapting them to customer needs. This series offers maximum flexibility. All systems are extremely energy efficient thanks to the innovative RUF hydraulic system. Depending on the model, the machines are equipped with motors ranging between 4 kW and 90 kW. The throughput capacities of the RUF Biomass presses range between 50 and 1,300 kg/h.

The traditional ALLFILM system of conventional medium and high voltage capacitors consists of aluminium foil and polypropylene, immersed completely in synthetic, flammable oil. Breakdowns in this kind of dielectric tend to result in permanent short circuits which take out the entire capacitor element, change the voltage conditions inside the capacitor and initiate a chain reaction of further failures of capacitor elements which will end up in the loss of the entire capacitor. In three-phase capacitors, this process is usually accompanied by the occurrence of phase asymmetries which may cause damage and catastrophic failure. In our MSD™ medium voltage capacitors, we are using the metallised polypropylene so well known from LV power factor correction. Instead of flat pack windings, our capacitance is formed by compact cylindrical windings, avoiding the mechanical stress at the edges of the ALLFILM flat packs.
