MACK brush holders with clamps are available in many different sizes, shapes, versions, and materials – also for your slip ring or commutator application. Our brush holders with clamps have everything tightly under control. The carbon brushes are inserted into the brush shafts of the holder. The brush pressure comes – depending on the type – from a pressure finger, or (in the case of a self-recoiling spring holder) with a suitable self-recoiling spring holder, which permits the use of above-average length carbon brushes.

The Irus sign holders are available in 4 different designs. There are various types of panel, e.g. glass, wood, plastic, PVC, metal etc. and varying panel thicknesses with visible or concealed screw connections. We have the correct connector for every type of panel, size or thickness. There is no need to drill the panels when using Irus sign holders, simply clamp the panel with the connectors and mount the sign using the plug on the respective wall. The sign is quick and easy to mount in the correct position. The major advantage of the Irus sign holder is that the panel does not require drilling. The principle is simple „ the bigger the panel the more sign holders are required. Different sizes of sign can be mounted and the positioning of the holders is freely selectable. Whether at the top, at the bottom, at the right or left, whether 1, 2 or several sign holders, you are free to make your own choice. Panels with a thickness of 3-5 or 5-8 mm can be used.

Our self-recoiling springs consist of a V-shaped base holder, to which a self-recoiling spring is riveted. Of course, the relevant carbon brushes match 1:1. MACK self-recoiling springs in holders with clamps provide the required carbon brush pressure. To cut capillary tubes, special blades are required, which are made of a material that is harder than glass. Normally, blades with an extremely hard diamond edge are used. However, zirconium oxide blades are a less expensive and convenient alternative. They are also very hard, and can be sharpened easily at any time by simple regrinding. These blades are excellently suited for cutting glass capillaries, as the flat blade can be drawn accurately across the glass surface. Moreover, the capillaries can be parted cleanly at the incision point. This method can even be used on extremely fine test tubes with wall thicknesses of only 0,01 mm.
