Alpha-Arbutin is a biosynthetic glycoside with excellent skin lightening properties for a perfect even skin tone. It is able to effectively inhibit melanin synthesis by inhibition of tyrosinase, this effect is achievable even at very at low concentrations. Alpha Arbutin exhibits impressive tyrosinase inhibition and is nine times more effective than Beta-Arbutin. Very low IC50 values indicates the power of Alpha-Arbutin. The outstanding efficacy of Alphar-Arbutin is due to its perfect affinity to the active site of tyrosinase. Alpha-Arbutin is water soluble and easily incorporated into the water phase of cosmetic formulations. It is stable againsthydrolysis as tested in the pH range from 3.5 - 6.6. Suggested concentration: 0.2% when formulated with an exfoliant or penetration enhancer, otherwise up to 2%.

Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is an excellent skin whitening agent,it inhibits the activity of Tyrosinase by acting on Cu2+ and it prevents the synthesis of melanin.It is an etherfied derivative of ascorbic acid,one of the most stable derivates of ascorbic acid.It’s also showing a very good stability in all kinds of cosmetic formulations. Ethyl Ascorbic Acid penetrates into skin where it is metabolized to ascorbic acid.Due to this process its efficacy is more pronounced than the one of pure ascorbic acid.Non irritating to skin and eyes.

Tripeptide-10 Citrulline is also know as Decorinyl. Tripeptide-10 Citrulline is a synthesized tetrapeptide which mimics the sequences of decorin that bind to collagen fibrils. It has been shown to regulate fibrillogenesis and control fibril growth, improving firmness and elasticity of the skin, ensuring uniformity of fibril diameter and spacing of collagen fibrils. In effect, Tripeptide-10 Citrulline/Decorinyl replaces the non-functional decorin encountered as the skin ages, and also sustains a superior moisture profile. Tripeptide-10 Citrulline/Decorinyl has been incorporated into a liposomal system for enhanced penetration, stability and efficacy. It is recommended for cosmetic formulations designed for mature skin where an improvement of suppleness and strength of skin is desired. Tripeptide-10 Citrulline/Decorinyl may be used in emulsions, gels and other formulations.
