Industrial processes require a possibility of a flexible joint of two or mere components that move against each other, in such a way as to maintain tightness of the connection. The solution of this problem are compensator fabrics produced by Gambit in accordance with individual needs of users or installation designers. They are used as flexible joints compensating thermal deformations, side shift, and vibrations, while muffling and reducing transfer of noise across the installation. Compensators are used in power plants, gas turbines, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, paper industry and cement industry. More and more compensators are used in exhaust gas treatment and desulphurisation. Our compensators are made of materials resistant to both high temperatures, up to 1000oC, and aggressive chemical media. Working pressure of compensator fabric is -0.2 to 0.3 bar.

The chemically stable and high-temperature resistant nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy 2.4605 (alloy 59) is mainly used in the chemical industry, flue gas desulphurisation plants, paper industry. Alloy 59 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. The alloy has excellent resistance to both oxidizing and reducing media, and possesses superior resistance to chloride pitting and stress corrosion cracking. The alloy is widely used in the most severe environments. Some applications include: flue gas scrubber components, bleach plant and digester components for the pulp and paper industry, sour gas handling equipment, sulfuric acid coolers, waste incinerators and seawater equipment. Alloy 276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an addition of tungsten designed to have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments. The high chromium, molybdenum and tungsten contents make the alloy especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environments while chromium conveys resistance to oxidizing media. The low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding to maintain corrosion resistance in as-welded structures. This nickel alloy is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, thus making it suitable for most chemical process application in an as welded condition. Alloy 276 is widely used in the most severe environments such as mixed acid chemical processing, pollution control, pulp and paper production, industrial and municipal waste treatment, and recovery of sour oil and gas. Alloys 304 (S30400) and 304L (S30403) stainless steels are variations of the 18 percent chromium – 8 percent nickel austenitic alloy, the most familiar and most frequently used alloy in the stainless steel family. High strength, excellent corrosion resistance and minimized carbon content make Alloy 304 and 304L Stainless Steels useful for applications where welding is required. Uses include architectural mouldings and trim, welded components of chemical, textile, paper, pharmaceutical and chemical industry processing equipment. Other advantages are its resistance to oxidation, excellent formability, ease of fabrication and cleaning, excellent strength to weight ratio and good toughness at cryogenic temperatures. Alloy 17-4 PH is a chromium-copper precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel with Cu and Nb/Cb additions. 17-4PH Stainless Steel combines high strength, hardness (up to 572°F / 300°C), and moderate corrosion resistance. Alloy 17-4 PH withstands corrosive attacks better than any of the standard hardenable stainless steels and is comparable to Alloy 304 in most media. The alloy is subject to crevice or pitting attack if exposed to stagnant seawater for any length of time, although it is corrosion resistant in some chemical, petroleum, paper, dairy and food processing industries(equivalent to 304L grade). Mechanical properties can be improved (high strength and superior corrosion resistance) when precipitation hardened from Condition A to one of the Condition H tempers. We supply 17-4 PH in the H1150D condition. This is double aged at a temperature between 1140° F and 1160° F for 3.75 hours to 4.
