EMA standard fabricated pipeline strainers meet customers’ expectations and the highest standards. EMA pipeline basket strainers are being used in piping applications where a greater screen area to pipe area ratio is required. By providing a greater screen area than a Y-strainer, you are optimizing the total open area and minimizing potential pressure loss through the basket. EMA strainers are used to protect pipelines, valves, and spray nozzles from water flow problems. They reduce the necessity for frequent cleaning and provides a cost and time saving benefit with less downtime.

EMA offers a variety of Demister Pad includes Wire Mesh Demister Pads and Filter Demister Pads for different process equipments handling liquid and vapor. Due to carry over of liquid particulate matter by gas or vapour, termed as entrainment is common in gas-liquid separations. It causes material loss and adversely affects the operational efficiency of the system. Constructed in a simple and light weight structure, it works by coalescing liquid droplets of smaller sizes. It results in increased collisions among the liquid drops forcing them to stick together in order to form bigger droplets that are too heavy to rise with the gas stream.

Sidestream filters remove sediment, biological growth, rust and corrosion products from recirculating closed loop CHW, LTHW and MTHW water circuits in the HVAC industry. These filters protect pipework, valves, pumps and components by removing suspended impurities and complement water treatment program. BSRIA Publication BG29/2021 recommends that a sidestream filter is installed “to protect and prolong system life expectancy.” Sidestream filters provide an economical solution for filtration in the recirculating water systems by filtering the complete system volume once or twice in 24 hours. Sidestream filters can be supplied fully assembled with pumps on a skid, ready for filtration. These can also be combined with our magnetic assemblies for rust removal from heavily corroded hot water systems.
